I'm interested, Maybe November will be better as i'm pretty busy in October I think, unless its late october but I can't make the 11th or 18th.
Southampton/Portsmouth Meet
Okay, so I tried to do this about a year ago and had to cancel it because of one reason or another. However, as I've just been down the pub and so, therefore, temporarily feel a bit more optimistic about it, I thought I'd raise the topic again.
Basically, I arranged two Southampton meets back in 2000 and 2001 which was just an excuse to get together, hang out in pubs and have fun as per what happens at most meets. Eveyrone had a laugh at these two meets so lets try to see if we can do it all again.
Now, for the first time, I'm not bothered whether we have this at Southampton or Portsmouth. And for a Saints fan that is saying something! I'm just mentioning Portsmouth as a possible venue because a) I work in Pompey so can check places out where we can go, b) there is a bowling place actually in the city centre which Southampton doesn't and c) for those of you who want to drive I can direct you to a free parking Anyway, that's something to sort out once I get an idea on numbers.
Obviously, I'm looking for this to happen on a Saturday but it's just a case of deciding on when to have it. It doesn't have to be this side of New Year in any event. I'm conscious of other events and commitments people have so, if you are interested in coming along, can you let me know what would be best for you over the next 2-4 months. We can then short list the best dates for everyone (possibly avoiding when Saints/Pompey are playing at home).
Also, providing you bring your own bedding, I can probably put up 3/4 people in my flat if you don't fancy travelling back the same day/night (although don't expect me to cook you breakfast!)
Once we have an idea of numbers and a provisional date we can discuss what we want to do - whther that be a trip to the cinema, bowling, etc. Obvioulsy, pubs/drinking will be a given
So, there we are. If you're interested, post below and don't let my drunken enthusiasm go to waste

I won't rule anything out now that I have most Sat/Sun free - but it hugely depends on transport and I imagine very few people will travel there and back in the same day - so I'm happy to bring my own bedding
Ditto.

1st is out for defo, that the Bowling for Soup/Thorpe Park weekend...Other dates *I Think* are ok, but it depends when I get me work rota..
Right, firstly I'm up for this, cos when do I ever turn down a booze-up?
Secondly, finding a convenient date could be difficult for me cos I'm a hectic social bunny.
As Ethan said, the 1st of November is a no-can-do for me either. I'm also gonna have to add the 22nd of November and the 6th of December into this category as I'll (hopefully) be seeing Linkin Park and The Darkness respectively.

It looks like November is a no-go then. So we either do it on 25th October or perhaps leave it to December or January.
What do peeps think?

Same here but not stuff with him
January's quite a quiet month usually, and it's nice to have something to look forward to after the Yuletide/Hogmanay celebrations. Plus, any beaches nearby shouldn't be too crowded!
Would have to be either end of October or early in Jan next year for me.
Not too far to drive, but would defo prefer somewhere to crashout

Is that New Years Eve at Whistler's house then
mid November to mid December would have been fine for me, but then I didn't bother get Linkin Park tickets (fool!! )
