I was gonna come to July but I'm not paying £8 for the 'privilege'
Nos Night - 10th July - PA Appearance - Richard Herd
Another guest, this time not for Valhalla, but for the July Nos Night.
Richard Herd, who played Dr.Stanley Backer in Season 2 Buffy episode "Killed by Death", has decided to pop along and say hi to everyone. While he has a single Buffy episode behind him, his genre credits in general are incredibly impressive. He was:
Captain Sheridan in T.J.Hooker (Hooker's boss)
John the Supreme Commander in V
Captain Galaxy in Quantum Leap
Admiral Noyce in Seaquest: DSV (10 episodes)
Admiral Owen Paris, Star Trek Voyager (10 episodes)
He's also been in the Rockford Files, Starsky and Hutch, The Streets of San Francisco, Hart to Hart, M*A*S*H, The A-Team, Knight Rider, Murder She Wrote, Scarecrow and Mrs.King, Hill Street Blues, Beauty and the Beast, The Golden Girls, Brisco County Jr, Tales from the Crypt, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Dr.Quinn: Medicine Woman, E.R., Walker Texas Ranger, Diagnosis Murder, JAG, the O.C., The
China Syndrome, and many more. One of his first movies was Hercules in New York, which was Arnie's first starring role! So he has met pretty much everyone.
He'll be popping in to do a photo shoot, talk, and to sign
autographs.
There will be a limited number of tickets available. Entrance will be £5.00 if bought in advance or £8.00 on the door.
To book in advance please call 07963 618 197.

ok its good to see they have a guest, but a very very minor guest and £8? Hmm, doubtful i'll be there.
It's NOT £8.00 if you ring the number and book in advance
All you're doing is leaving your name on a list and then when you get to Pages you'll pay £5.00 entry.
If you don't book in advance then you will be charged the higher fee.

Still not game for it to be honest, might change my mind though, prolly need another night out.

Don't get me wrong there have been some excellent times at Nos, but it's, for lack of a better term, boring. It's almost like a choice...minor guest or episodes/film. That and the beer prices still don't help (Unless they have been changed)
We'll see.....
*whispers* what about a not-nos for people who dont want to get in the way of people who want to meet the guest?
No Nos again for me this month...I'm in Scotland that week for Jed Festival. Going out at 7pm on Thursday night and won't get to bed till 4am Sunday morning Last year I had 12hrs sleep over the 3 nights but boy was it fun
Now if it was Douglas Herd i'd be interested...
As for the "Drunken Crawl"...
The Dr Stanley Hunter memorial Pub crawl hasn't been trod in a while...
(well not since my birthday)

I'm not sure if I'm gonna be around that weekend, but if I am then I'm up for that!

Watch out though. Mr Shouty gets mad if you spend too long looking at knickers when he wants to go to the next pub

Lol! I'll bear that in mind. Though I'm sure it depends on who's wearing them at the time...

Failure to complete the crawl is not an option...
especially when the cause is unspecified late arriving civilians
That was the first time i met you was it not at Wale's Birthday was it not?
And i STILL haven't got my "job".
I still hold the record for the most expensive round bought on that crawl...
£45.

Indeed it was. It was also the night you said I had a beautiful face (you were very drunk) and I nicknamed you Mr Shouty

Speak to Teresa, she's the one who offered
