Sam & Jola's Summer Party - Sat 26th July
Who's Up For a Party?
Date: Saturday 26th July 2003
Venue: King Charles Hotel, Gillingham, Kent
Reason: Why the hell not?
Jola & myself have decided that we donÂ’t get to see everyone enough in the year. Not everyone can afford the conventions, day events can take a lot of planning for people coming distances. The result - to host a party in a hotel where we can just PARTY!!
We want everyone to have FUN, FUN, FUN! We are hosting this across all the boards and mailing lists that we both use. The only rules are to enjoy yourselves, see old friends and make new friends. And maybe get a little merry along the way
Ticket Price: £12.00 per person (which includes ticket entry to the party, and a small buffet)
Dress Code: Whatever rocks your world - PVC, Costume, Normal, Jeans, etc
The party itself takes place between 7pm and 12.45am, but there are afterhours activities for hotel residents
We have negotiated hotel rooms at discount prices but these have to be booked asap.

Hmmm, 5 days before my *burble burble* th birthday.
Sounds like a plan.
However, as many of you know I'm a bit of a traveller, so I can't say anything for definite. I don't know yet where I'll be working next week, let alone July.

Booked time off work, paid for ma ticket, reserved me a room (tho my usual roomie has dumped me for his girlfriend), and after this weekend , wouldn't miss it - especially as Jola and Pegasus couldn't make T-Party

Spike, as this is open to lots of different boards we would be posting names that haven't even been heard of on T21. If you are really worried about waiting until certain people then ask them directly if they are coming

Paid for my ticket already (just didn't notice thread was about), but not got a roomie & I can't really afford to go if I hafta have a room on my own, so....

Don't forget if you do want a room you will need to let Jola or myself know when you pay for your ticket as we have a set of block booked rooms available.

Those that have expressed an interest just a gentle reminder that payments must be in asap to reserve your place and can we have an idea as to hotel rooms wanted as well please so we can sort out the allocation. Ta
