A convention for Buffy and Angel fans the world over!
We are Happy to Announce:

Liverpool
Venue will be announced July 20th @ 12 noon
Tickets will go on sale July 21st @ 2pm
Price:
Adult £90
Under 14 £50
There will be a VIP reception for 200 Attendees on
Friday 25th June
They will be CHOSEN by:
First 100 tickets purchased
Second 100 tickets at random by lottery!
Guests will be announced as soon as The Powers That Be send us a vision!

Cons are definitely becoming the reserve for those with bags of money, that's for sure. And the thing is, the fans suffer because all these cons are at the same time and guests can only do so many of them.

Whist, I agree with you. Even though this particular one is actually "non-profiting making" the website does list who the proceeds are being split between.
This will make 4 Buffy/Angel events in the matter of a few months, and that's without Jealous's release yet!!
And £90 is well over my budget for one ticket without getting to Liverpool

Got this from their boards today - change of date:-
Hi Everyone.
Unfortunately, due to previous work commitments of some of our guests we have been asked to change our dates.
This has been agreed. Chosen 2004 will now take place on the first weekend of July 2nd – 4th 2004.
Due to the above request, we now have to postpone ticket sales and announcements but hopefully for only one week.
News will be updated as soon as we know more.
This will be posted on the Website ASAP.
Many Apologies to anyone that is inconvenienced by this rearrangement.

Definately would want to go to this, but cons are really expensive especially this so I might have to wait to see the line-up first. I like the fact that its in liverpool, they're normally really far away for me and my friends, we live in wales. Also a bit worried about how new the company is, so its a wait and see thing for me. Not sure anyone wanted to know that but hey, im bored.

oh well, nevermind, there are tons of other cons I want to go to this year, i'll have to pass my driving test to get there but we all have to make sacrifices!

No there is no official feedback on this event - the organiser has no internet access and those that have her phone number have been unable to reach her.

I guess hopeful organisers don't realise how hard it is to get a convention off the ground.
If there is just a misunderstanding about it taking place, then there's no reason why something couldn't have been posted officially on at least the egroup or the frontpage of the original website.
Communication is the name of the game surely!
