Yeah, I wanted to post this in GC, and I couldn't see any thread that it would fit into:

(which reminds me that I can never get the hang of posting images on T21, so someone else will have to alert people to the serious batleth problem on Gloucester's streets...)

I'm guessing you also have issue with starting a new thread in GC? Could you possibly elaborate so we might be able to fix the problem?

'Have issue' sounds kind of arch. I couldn't start a new thread, as implied above, that's why I came to Feedback to see if anyone else had the problem...

Okay lets rephrase it to technical difficulties Could you please tell us things like which browser you use etc so we can try to replicate the problem as so far we haven't been able to.

I just logged in as Sydney & The Host and was able to create topics without any technical difficulties. Could you try again and see if this could have possible reset your user (if you use the remember me setting please logout) and login again and see if the problem still exists?

Browsers is the kind of technical stuff that the missus sorts out. I just come straight from AOL (utter chav ). I notice I keep having to sign on again, but I'm getting that with every message board right now, whether I click 'Remember Me' or not. I probably wasn't logged in when I tried to post the topic about the batleth someone apparently handed in during the knife amnesty, but I didn't get a message telling me to log on, which usually happens on most sites. Also, on other sites, signing on then would take me to the reply box, but with T21, logging on takes me back to the (almost) main page wherever I was when entered my details.

I'm sure I'm logged on now, so I'll try posting a topic...

OK, when I tried posting a new topic while logged in, I got the reply box, which is further than I got before, so I didn't go any further. I logged off, went back to GC and tried the same thing, and got the log in page alright, but got bumped back that main page again. I'll get the url for it in a minute. The posting of new topics seems to be going smoothly again, though.

Yes, it was the front page (http://tangent21.com/), although the url looked slightly different when I first signed on. There was 'p' in there somewhere, and possibly an 'it'...

That's the one. I don't think I had the same problem Sidney had anyway. It was just getting bumped back to the main page when I expected a reply box upon logging in that threw me this one time...

Ah, so one of the problems is the redirect after loggin in isn't correct... I can fix that
