First/Best Bond Film?

What was the first Bond film you ever remember seeing, and which one of the ones you've seen do you think is the best?

I vaguely remember seeing bits from The Man With The Golden Gun when I was very young, but the first one I remember seeing in full was Diamonds Are Forever. It's still one of my favourites even though many people tell me it's one of the worst! Maybe the fact it was the first one I saw makes a difference.

I also reckon Goldfinger, You Only Live Twice and License To Kill (which didn't really feel like a proper Bond, but still good) to be amongst the best

I think "True Lies" was the best Bond film I've ever seen.
Whadaya mean Arnie didn't play Bond?!?!?!

Actually I think the first one I can remember seeing was "Live and Let Die". I don't really have a favourite I'm ashamed to say.

I always liked Dr No and On Her Majestys Secret Service. I know im in a minority here but I also like the Dalton ones.

Incandenza It's not a zero-sum game.

The first one I remember watching was Moonraker.

I am proud to stand in the Dalton camp. The Living Daylights is my favourite Bond film and Licence to Kill is also fantastic (introducing Benicio del Toro BTW).

Of the rest, Goldfinger is my fave Connery, Live and Let Die is the only good Moore and the Brosnan's are all terrible except for Goldeneye which is stupid but fun.

Time for a best bond song thread methinks...

I love James Bond films they remind me of my childhood and bank Holidays

Although Im sorry but I have to say Sean Connery was by far the best James Bond (but then Im biased)

The first one I saw was Moonraker like Inc, and I remeber watching it in the pictures , it was a family afternoon out when I was younger to go and see the new Bond films (although I still remeber the emabarresed feeling sitting with my parents when it got all smoochy)

First one I saw was Live And Let Die at a very early age and all that Voodoo stuff scared the proverbial out of me. Favourite single film is probably Living Daylights, Dalton being my favourite Bond. He just struck me as the most realistic. That said, I did also quite like Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies. Man With The Golden Gun is also pretty entertaining in a cheesy sort of way.

Bryany Ah, youth is wasted on the wrong people.

I'm probably gonna be shot down here but i've never seen the attraction to James Bond films.

So dont have favourite as i think there all prety dire *shrugs*

I can't really remember the first one i saw. Probably either Goldfinger or Live and Let Die.
Hard to pick a favourite. seems i'm in the minority here but i liked The World is Not Enough, although my all time fave gotta be Licence to Kill.

I think the best James Bond is: Alias

Interesting plot, plenty of action, its just a shame they can't have more action scenes.

Alias is the best Spy show around. James bond is fun but is just a bit over the top most of the time. I liked live and let die though. I wouldn't ever buy the videos of them because they aren't good enough to warrant that.

The first one I saw in the cinema was The Living Daylights. But the first one that I saw was either For Your Eyes Only or The Man With the Golden Gun.

I don't really have a favourite, I'm not a big Bond fan, but Moonraker, The Living Daylights and A View to a Kill are all ones that I remember as being cool!
