Have to disagree. Me and Red went and saw this on Saturday and we both thought it was excellent. The tension is built up well throughout the film and is very much edge-of-the-seat stuff. Okay, so you have to suspend your disbelief for parts of the film. But you have to do that with every film, that's why it's called 'Drama'.

It is worth seeing, but isn't one of the best films out at the mo'
Jodie Foster plays the part of terrified, but fiercely protective, mother perfectly. And Forrest Whittaker portrays the sympathetic criminal believably. And Jared Leto provided the 'comic' relief very well.
The film has a very simple premise and this is where it succeeds. Unlike a lot of films that try and make the plot too complicated (in a misguided belief that this will capture the imagination of the audience), this film succeeds because the plot is that simple: a group of people are desperate to get into a secure room; two people are desperate to get out of said room. And both groups know if they mis-judge their move, show a lack of patience, the consequences could be fatal.....
Go see it!
