Yeah, because if they didn't remove some stuff it would have been about 5 hours long! It was already well over two hours long in the end anyway - 152 minutes to be precise

I ot the VHS yesterday and sat down and watched it with the family...wish we'd got a DVD player though
Although the VHS gave you 'extra footage' it turned out to be just 2 scenes Who got their copy over the weekend then ?

IU was reading the paper a imnute ago and they had a couple of pics from the new film...Dobby looks soooo cute !

It also begs the question, what are they going to do with The Goblet of Fire? That book is at least twice as long as the others, so how are they going to cram it all in? I heard somewhere that they were going to make it into two films, but I don't really believe that, it just wouldn't work imo.

i love the books, but never got around to seeing the film....
now i'm not so sure i want to, in case my imaginary pictures are completely thrown away and it doesn't live up to the book

Posted: 20:04 Jun 13 2002 I would say yes. For me, the film recreated all the imagery of the book in superb detail. Most of it turned out exactly the way I had pictured it when I read the books. It was great!

The only thing that stands out that didn't match my original thoughts was the sorting hat. In my mind it shouldn't have talked out loud it should have just communicated with the person wearing it. But maybe that's just me.

No, i thought it was only talking to the individual too, particularly in Harry's case.
