Don't think I've seen any films at the cinema that I really didn't like this year. Last one I can remember is 'East is East', but that was quite a while ago.

On video, for some reason we hired a dreadful thing called 'Eye of the Beholder' with Ewan MacGregor and Ashley Judd.

Oh, and what I saw of 'The Crush', featuring a young Amber Benson, was pretty dire.

Probably "Kate and Leopold"... the promise was nice, Hugh Jackman was eye candy, Meg Ryan wasn't really believable and the plot sucked big time... which was a shame as i'd been looking forward to seeing it. And it did pretty well in US for some strange reason...

That definitely must have been "Reindeer games". And not even my beloved Ben Affleck could save it.
The dialougues were sooo bad. I rented it and watched it with a friend. She left after 20 minutes cause she couldnt stand it anymore. I only kept watching to see if it gets better and of course because of Ben.
I have to say the best part was Bens blank ass while he was having a truly porn sequence with Charlize Theron. I really couldnt shut my mouth during that scene. and it was rated 12 !!!
Worst bit? Oooooooh there were so many... maybe the end, when he had escaped death about 50 times, a dozen people had tried to kill him, and he ended up as the only survivor with tons of money from a robbery. and what does that guy do?? It' s christmas so he just walks home and on his way he puts a bundle of money in every postbox. He hands out all the money because " the only thing i wanted was a homecooked meal and a cup of hot chocolate" please????!!!!!!! Remember: He had just been released from jail and was a criminal.
And what about Charlize Theron? She might be damn pretty, but her acting sucked big time. In the beginning she plays the good girl ( that actually always is evil), but as soon as the viewer gets to know that she is a baddy she plays her part as a baddy. You can always see her eyes go small when she speaks and stuff. It' s soooo bad.
Not to mention the 300 turning points. If you watch that movie, *never* go to the toilet! Or you wont be able to get back into the plot. They change who the bad guys are soooooo often. It' s not funny anymore.
