Cover? Who needs cover? I'm just going to go see it. Let them laugh I say. Let them chuckle and point and say 'look at the grown up going to see the Powerpuff Girls movie'.
Well let them laugh I say! For I shall be laughing too! And not just for a few minutes at someone standing in the queue, but for the entire duration of the movie.
So stand up, I say! Be proud of your geekyness. Revel in that fact that you can get the joke where others, with shallower and less sophisticated senses of humour (Hi Mum; Hi Dad <wave> say poo-poo Powerpuff Girls poo-poo, and never get to find out what they are missing.
Me? Self-righteous? Never.

I raise my clenched fist in solidaritary with my geek brethren, in our struggle against THE MAN. But there ain't no way I'm going in that theatre and watching that .. with y'all. Some things are just plain wrong.

Your loss, since neither you, or Picture of Flowers has properly watched the show, I can only summerise you are making such a judgement on either the name or what you assume the show is like. Neither of you have any proper idea how clever, often adult and witty the show can be. I offer my condolences, you're both missing out

Kieran, I'm the original generation xer. I live for MTV, munchies and the cartoon network (and variations thereof). Seen the show many times. Did nothing for me. Now, if you want to talk South Park, Simpsons, Mega Babies, Tic and Johnny Bravo, then you've quality TV.
