Well, the Galactic Republic won't be replaced by the Empire, but Palpatine will declare himself Emperor and rename it the Galactic Empire. I don't think he will reveal himself to be a Sith Lord to the Senate, but I think Yoda will figure it out and confront him.

First off the Republic has to be replaced by the Empire which means at some point in 3 Palpatine is going to reveal himself to be a Sith Lord (Darth Sidious most probably). I think this will happen in the last third of the film somewhere.
I think you are wrong here actually... this was used in the Expanded Universe in comics and novels, but i don't think Lucas will use it. He's used small bits from the EU (such as the idea for double ended Sith Lightsabers) but he won't steal a major plot point. I think it will be much simpler; the Clone Troopers will simply be replaced by Humans as the Clones are wiped out. The Clones were a very well trained group, but there weren't *that* many of them and it's a galactic war, which would require great numbers of soldiers. It would take far too long to grow new Clones to replace them.

Secondly theres the problem with Stormtroopers. In Ep 2 the stormtroopers(alright they aren't officially stormtroopers but they wear the concept armour etc) were clones of Jango...however by episode 4 we have stormtroopers of varying height with different voices who can't shoot to save themselves and are therefore not clones of Jango. Now either they have started cloning from different people(very unlikely as you'd pick the people best suited to a task for cloning so anyone cloned would be a good shot etc) or they have been replaced by humans. I have a feeling that the clones are going to turn bad in Episode 3. In the expanded universe books it is said that clones became unpredictable and suffered a kind of madness. If we take that as a starting block I'm going to guess that the Clone army starts to go on the rampage destroying planets here there and everywhere...The Jedi and a hastily formed army of humans/aliens confronts them in a battle which eventually destroys the clones and the practice of cloning is outlawed.
I think we'll see Stormtroopers and Clone Troopers in this film. The Stormtroopers perhaps storming in when Palpatine declares himself Emperor, enforcing his will and showing the Senate that they cannot fight him.
Pretty much agree with you here. We'll see Anakin turn to the Dark Side (way i'll see it, the Council will expel him from the Jedi Order for his marriage to Palpatine, and that will be a major factor), and we'll see him fight Obi-Wan and lose. Anakin will be presumed dead. I think we'll see Darth Vader, but only at the very end. The way i envision it, it would just be a scene in Palpatine's throne room with Vader striding in, kneeling and saying 'What is thy bidding, my Master?' mirroring ESB.

Next we have Anakin/Darth Vader....If you've watched all the films you know that Anakin is Darth Vader and Luke's father as shown by the brilliant ending in ESB. Unless Lucas decides that he's gonna totally destroy the ending of ESB then I would say that we are NOT going to see Anakin turn into Darth Vader(ie see Anakin putting on the suit etc). If we did then you would know Vader was Luke's father before ANH started and it would ruin the climatic ending of ESB. So what will happen to Anakin then?? I think we will definetly see him turn to the Dark Side and fight Obi Wan...Another problem here is that Obi Wan obviously knows that Anakin is Vader, something he hides from Luke..how does Lucas retain the ending of ESB ??
I think we'll see Bail Organa take Leia to Alderaan (perhaps with a very ill Padme), and we'll see Obi-Wan deliver Luke to Owen and Beru Lars. I don't think Anakin will even know there are children. This is something people tend to have differing views on, but i don't think Vader knows he has children in the existing trilogy until Luke destroys the Death Star and the Skywalker name becomes famous. He certainly doesn't know he has a daughter until Return of the Jedi, but the way i see it, if he knew he had a son, he would have gone and found him before ESB, because he could train him as his apprentice from an early age.

Will we see baby Luke delivered to Owen Lars for protection and baby Leia going to Alderaan?? Will we see Owen and Obi Wan fall out(perhaps Owen will blame Obi Wan for Anakins slide to the dark side)..we know that Owen doesn't like Obi Wan after what he says in ANH and that he doesn't want Luke to have anything to do with him..probably as he's scared that Obi Wan will cause the same thing to happen to Luke as what happened to Anakin.
I think it will just be a case of droids having their memories wiped on purpose.

What will happen to R2 and 3PO?? They obviously get sent with Leia as they are onboard her consular ship at the beginning of ANH..but they don't know who Leia is, who Luke is, who Vader is, who Obi Wan is etc which reveals to me that both droids have had their memorys erased. In R2's case that might not be true however because according to the official tech manual of Star Wars astromech droids have a protected memory core which cannot be accessed and is hidden from the droids own memory unless certain conditions are met(The message from Leia in ANH was held in this portion of R2's memory which explains the reason that R2 said he couldn't find the message..the peice of shrapnel embedded in Artoo which Luke moved probably hit a connection which caused the memory to partially play).
I think we'll see him leave intending not to come back. I think he'll have some sort of confrontation with Palpatine and realise that he can't beat him, so leave and wait for the children to get older. I wonder if Lucas will work in an explanation for the Dark Side cave on Dagobah, but i don't know.

I definitely agree here. Lucas has said there will be lots of mirrors with the original films, and i definitely think there'll be a scene with Anakin killing Tyrannus with Palpatine telling him to strike him down and take his place at his side.

One thing I think we might see is a battle between Anakin/Vader and Darth Tyrannus mirroring the battle between Luke and Vader in RoTJ.
