Favourite line from a film ever...
Everyone has their favourite film of all time but does their favourite film quote come from it, my favourite film of all time is star wars but one of my favourite quotes comes from goodfellas (not wanting to offend the young uns i won't put it in) so what about everybody else!

"It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache."
And how about this from Dog Soldiers, a film full of great one liners:
Cooper: "Where's Spoon?"
(Wells, finding Spoon's bloody remains in the kitchen....)
Wells: "There is no Spoon"
Cooper: "Where's Spoon?"
(Wells, finding Spoon's bloody remains in the kitchen....)
Wells: "There is no Spoon"
"I've tasted blood and I want more..."
And I've just realised that I haven't done any quotes from God... sorry, I mean Peter Jackson's films yet. Well, time to put that right.
"Your mother ate my dog!"
"Not all of it..."
"I'm a Derek! And Dereks don't run!"
"Hell hath no fury like a psycho hippo with a heavy machine gun!"
(OK, so that's a tag-line not a quote, but it's too cool not to include. )
"The old express bus to hell. No lines, no waiting."
And the one that always brings a tear to my eye:
"Tis indeed a miracle, one must feel, that two such heavenly creatures are real"

"You've got to remember, that these are just simple farmers, these are people of the land, the common clay of the new west. You know . . . morons."

I watched The Commitments today. There are so many great lines in that film..one of the best scenes has to be the boy queuing outside the house..
Jimmy: "What do you play?"
Boy: "I did a bit of football at school eh"
Jimmy: "No what instrument??"
Boy: "None"
Jimmy: "Your a singer then?"
Boy: "Nah"
Jimmy: "Well what are you doing here then?"
Boy: "Well to be honest I saw the line of folk and thought you were selling drugs"
hehe..comedy.

And let's not forget the classic Tango and Cash: (EDIT: so described 'cos I think it's really daft and funny, well, most of it is)
Genius!

--Gabe Cash (Kurt Russell)

Now there's a combination of words you don't hear everyday: "Classic", "Tango" and "Cash"...
I don't know, the youth of today. Don't know they're born.

Hey, I'm just a bag of contradictions and overall weirdness: I'm a Film Studies student who (usually) prefers action movies (like, for instance, Tango and Cash ) to weird independent productions (like The Idiots, for example *shudder*) and I have a different definition of 'classic' than most people...
Strange feeling of Deja Vu...
