I think Colin Farrells one of those one movies a year guys, or have a forgotten a zero. To be fair he is good at what he does.

Glad that theres some films out my unlimited has been under used recently.

aye, to be honest that's a *teeny* bit unfair (for this one anyway) as this was meant to be out last year but got put back twice, first because of 11/9 in general and then by the washington sniper.

I've been looking forward to it ever since it was announced though. 'S also got Kiefer Sutherland, Forest Whitaker and Katie Holmes in it - even if it is a Joel Schumacher effort it's something different.

(Colin Farrell spends 90 minutes in a phone box that he answers pinned down by a sniper on the other end of the line - just watched the trailer and it looks better than that little summary might suggest)

One film a year? Have you looked at his listing on IMDB? He did three last year, and is scheduled for no less than five (count 'em) this year. Sounds quite a busy schedule to me. So there.

Also, spending "90 minutes in a phone box" isn't as easy as it sounds. In a review with Farrell I read, he "said the word f*** about 70 times and about two of them were scripted", due to the fact that he almost had a nervous breakdown during shoting, as a result of spending a darn sight more than 90 minutes in that phone box, and almots becoming claustrophobic in the process. Poor sod!

None of my male friends will take me 'cos I ignore them and drool over Vin all night (just ask DM about our trip to XXX ) and the girls are worried I'll shout obscenities at the women in the movie

For me it will be Phone Booth (need another Colin Fix) and A Man Apart...I dont care what the reviews are like, its me that will be watching it so thats all I care about, if I like it then cool.

Also Dreamcatcher, Stephen King work with Jason Lee in it - works for me

We went to see a Stella preview screening of this last night. It's a Spike Lee film about a guy's last 24 hours before he goes to prison. It's a gorgeous looking film, well directed with great performances, but the story is a little meandering in places and it feels a lot longer than it is (perhaps because our cinema seats were uncomfortable though). There are some great scenes towards the end and the finish was not quite what I'd expected which was a nice surprise, but I'm not sure if I'd see it again.
