Meet the Feebles! Seeing as it's a film about a TV show, a TV spin-off would be an easy move. It could work, maybe. Though I'm not sure which networks would actually show it...
Which film would you like to see have a tv-spin-off show??
A few films have gone on to have successful televison shows based on them, Stargate and Buffy both spring to mind. So which films would you like to see have a tv show based on them??
I'd love a Star Wars television show based around new characters and a Jay & Silent Bob tv show myself.

Definitely Meet The Feebles!!!
However, TV spin offs usually suck hard. Buffy only really worked because Joss was so infuriated by the way his story was handled. He knew his idea had more to offer than slap-stick spoof and set out to prove it.
In fact, I'd hardly call Buffy a spin-off because it wasn't motivated by cashing in on the films success. As such, only SG1 would count as a successful spin-off, for me. Although, have you seen the cartoon spin-off? Truly awful.
As for Jay & Silent Bob, it wouldn't work if it wasn't played by Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, although maybe a cartoon version could work.
OK, maybe I should come up with a suggestion of my own... Hmm, best I could think of was Starship troopers, but again, if the motivation wasn't something other than cash in then it would undoubtedly suck. However, it strikes me as the only relatively recent film that could easily be transfered to tv without the use of the original characters.

There was an animated Clerks spin-off series. I've not seen it but it was supposed to be pretty good, despite being cancelled mid-way through it's not very long run. And I think it had most of the people from the film doing the voices. I should get it on DVD....
Yeah, I've heard of that. Think it gets mentioned in Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back. Or maybe one of the comic books... I forget. On my list of things to hunt down, along with Tenacious D the TV series.
How about a TV spin off of Jaws.
Each week, Amity is terrorised by an increasingly implausible sea creature which only Brody wants to do anything about... 'Next week, on Jaws the Series... "It's the kraken... you have to believe me'
The show's big bad could be a disgruntled haddock.
