Yes. everyone's looking way too deep. it's a fab film for what it is and just take it at face value and you'll really enjoy it.

Unless you really care about how the trilogy ends, I personally wouldn't bother. Go see Kill Bill instead - it beats M:R ten times over for construction, acting, plot and in a lot of ways, action

But that's the problem The Matrix set itself up for -- they posed complex questions & created interesting situations, then completely failed to deliver; if they didn't have decent answers then they shouldn't have set the questions in the first place.
