Well, anyone who's read my DJ will know that I absolutely love this film! So much so, that I even downloaded the kicking soundtrack off Kazaa.

I can't wait for Volume Two in February.

in an interview with jonathon roos i couldve sworn it was said several times it was a three parter ah well who cares i loved it and slayerslut's Gogo costume at nos ROCKED!!!

I really liked it. I wasn't actually expecting to like it that much as I'm not a fan of martial arts films or of most Japanese cinema to be honest. But I really thought it kicked bottom. Can't wait for the second part.

I went in expecting to hate it.

I absolutely loved it!!

I don't think that it was genius, but I really really enjoyed it.

One of the things that had originally put me off the film was the emphasis that had been placed on the 'shocking violence' aspect of the film. I expected to be sickened by it when in fact in the main I was amused

There were two instances where I found the violence shocking and felt remotely squemish
a) The opening scene "Bill, Its your baby"
b) The animated section

Almost everything else was what I'd call 'Comedy Violence' the sort of thing that may upset children and people of a delicate disposition, but that makes people who've seen Films like Final Destination laugh. Of course some of the action was off camera and anyone who's seen Resevoir Dogs knows that this can be effective, but I honestly didn't see much in this film to justify the reviews I read.

Loved the music and will definately be looking at obtaining the soundtrack

I don't know if it was just me, but I almost gasped out loud at the final moment and It left me *really* wanting to see Volume 2.

Guess I will be lining Tarentiono's pockets after all
