I went to see this last night with Maff, and although i thought it was good, i can't be as enthusiastic about it as Maff. It got to the end of the film and i just thought, ok, so what. It was good for what it was and i enjoyed it and everything, but i just didn't think there was a lot of point to it. So, two people went to Japan for two different reasons, felt kind of alone, met each other became friends then one left. Woo hoo (note the sarcastic tone).
It was alright, maybe a worth a trip to the cinema i suppose but it was just kinda blah. I can appreciate the good acting/directing etc and i think that's what probably makes the film rather than the film itself (if that makes sense).
