Damnnit!! I missed Blast from the Past. I wanted to see this since it came out at the cinema but somehow have never got round to it

What's On - Week Beginning 20th Feb
Not as much on this week, no significant releases at the cinema worth mentioning, and not a huge amount of films on TV, but here is what's on:

The Wings of the Dove

Starring: Helena Bonham Carter
Based on Henry James' novel, Iain Softley's film stars Helena Bonham Carter who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance. A young woman struggling to keep a finger-tip hold on wealthy society has the misfortune to fall in love with a penniless journalist.

Starring: Sylvester Stallone, Harvey Keitel, Robert De Niro
Freddy Heflin is sheriff of a place everyone calls Cop Land, a town populated by the big city police officers he's long admired. When Freddy uncovers mass corruption among these cops, he is forced to take action.

Demolition Man

Starring: Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes
Futuristic adventure about a cryogenically frozen cop who is thawed out when a psychopathic criminal escapes. Violence has been outlawed in the politically correct regime of 2032 and the only weapons in existence are consigned to a museum. When the escaped psychopath heads straight for the museum, the authorities decide that only the undesirable but effectively violent cop can stop him.
