According to UK IMDB, Kill Bill Vol. 2 is set for release on the week beginning 16th April.
It's quite a while after they said originally, but when compared to the 1, 2 or even 3 year gap between a traditional sequel, i don't think it's too long really.

I think the confusion has come from a slip in the R1 release date, IIRC R1 dvd release was set to be feb, but they slid it back to the same time as R2 in an attempt avoid piracy issues..
I think I'm going to order mine in via dvdboxoffice.com (released April 13th), £12 including (free) shipping, *and* you don't have to worry about duty etc because it's under £18 and therefore exempt

It?s been a long, cold winter, but finally the date is set! Ever since the disappointing news that cinemagoers would have to wait an extra six months to see Bill killed, breath has been baited for news of a final release date.
And here it is.
On the same day as our cousins across the pond, 16 April, viewers in the UK will get to see the eastern-western treat that is Kill Bill Volume 2.
The only downside to this delightful news is for those privileged few attending the Cannes Film Festival.
Since Cannes runs from May 12 ? 23, and Kill Bill Volume 2 opens well before that, it is likely to be out of the running for the opening slot, which is not normally given to films already on release.
Cannes organisers are today playing down the chances of Tarantino?s film kicking things off.
So that?s Public 1 ? Festival-goers 0.
