I preferred the Batmobile from the first film...it suits the character more. As for Christian Bale..mehh..can't think of anyone better for the part but god was he crappy in Equilibrium

The above image is a shot of Christian Bale in the new bat-suit. It's not a particularly clear shot, he's crouching, so you can't see large parts of the suit, but it looks pretty cool, very plain, no nonsense. Definitely nothing in the 'over the top, camp, yes please Mr. Schumacher' vain.
Edit: And for anyone who hasn't seen it, on the official site Here is two pictures of the new Batmobile. It's designed more to be 'practical' than 'cool' apparently and David Goyer's script describes it as a cross between a lamborghini and a humvee.
I think it's pretty damn cool.

He was great in Equilibrium, as was everything else about the film. Hmmm, I'm having visions of Batman trained in the Guncatta, scary.

Hmmm.... That Batmobile looks a bit pants to me. It looks like someones stolen the front of it.

Yup, I don't like the 'mobile much either. Don't get me wrong, it looks fun to drive an' all, but as a Batmobile? Uh-uh.

finally an actor i can drool over though michael keaton kinda struck me with his on the edge thing 
i quite like the new 'mobile very cool and terrain looks like it's best for swamp driving [or whatever the coprrect term is]
