Joss Whedon does Wonder Woman
No, he's not shacked up with Linda Carter...
Joss Whedon has been taken on by Joel Silver and Warner Brothers to write and direct a Wonder Woman feature film.
I'm hoping that he takes an original turn with it. It would be very easy for him to write an origin movie with a young, hot Wonder Woman, creating a girl-power franchise with a powerful female super hero.
I think they should use a slightly older Wonder Woman though. I don't want Joss to lapse into Buffy with Tights.

Rmour for a while has been that Silver and the studio had two actresses in mind. Jessica Biehl is they have a young Wonder Woman or Kim Basinger for an older one.

Carpenter certainly has the figure for the role, but not the acting chops.

When the rumours first started flying, Ashley Judd was mentioned as a strong contender for the part.

I can't remember who Ashley Judd is off hand, but having seen Blade: Trinity, Jessica Biehl sounds like a pretty good choice... *goes to consult IMDb - what else?* Nope, not seen Ashley Judd in anything I recognise...

"Hamster Cheeks" is a great actress, but not an action hero...
Diane Lane or Sandra Bullock would be better suited
