Is this a new film or a remake of the original story. Just watched the trailer on Apple.com and it looks like the start of the superman story rather than a new story
Superman Returns
Here's the final Superman Returns logo:
Superman Returns Logo
Classic logo in another excellent incarnation, and what is shaping up to be a great film. Brandon Routh is young, but from the pics so far seems to fit the role very well, especially as Clark Kent. Other brilliant bits of casting, like Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor and direction by Bryan Singer have this placed right at the top of my to see list.
But then, i'm a huge fan of the boy in blue, he's my favourite superhero. What about everybody else?
Edit: Pictures are starting to come out of the production now, and there are a great couple here:
Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor
Clark, Lois and some other folks

No this is a sequel, there is some flashback material though. However scenes of the rocketship crashlanding on the Kent farm are actually describing another event that occurs in the film
I love the trailer. In HD on my iMac or at the cinema, either way it rules.
There are a couple more pictures coming out now, the first is a very nice one of Superman holding the Daily Planet globe above him.
The world on his shoulders.
Superman in the Clark glasses.
Great shot from behind the camera.
