My only thought is "who?!"
And the new James Bond is...
Daniel Craig!

This bloke from (among other things) the first Tomb Raider movie.
He's as ugly as sin with a bod built for more of the same

I didn't think he was good looking until I saw Layer Cake, I thought he was pretty sexy in that. Infact even though I'm not a Bond fan I may consider seeing the film just to get kicks out of seeing Daniel Craige

It's almost heartbreaking. Such a beautiful body teamed with such an ugly face *sigh* paper bags required on that one, lol.

I remember David Craig's name being floated around a while back and thinking he'd be an excellent but impossible choice, not least because he's lucky enough not to have the identikit appearance modern Hollywood considers essential for a lead.
So consider me amazed.
He's an excellent actor with real range, from a subtle performance in BBC4's Copanhagen to a faintly bond-like turn in the C4 adaptation of Evelyn Waugh's Sword of Honour trilogy. He's so good he made the truly risible Archangel watchable. Can see him getting the character right back to the brutal charmer of the Connery days, which is exactly where he needs to be after the run of soulless Brosnan films.

Don't you mean Daniel Craig Byron
Pity it wasn't Hugh Jackman, though rumour was he turned it down... *grumble*
I've followed his career since "Our Friends in the North" back in '96 and i'm very curious to see him as Bond.
I tend not to go for blond blokes but he does have that 'something' about him i think.
