This is great news

We'll have the Original trilogy, the Special Edition trilogy and eventually, probably an Ultimate Edition. Coolness.

They've been saying for years they wouldn't release this set, but it was inevitable that they would. The demand for it is simply overwhelming.

If the quality is anything near the SE then I can't wait.

Cool, but probably not gonna buy them..... as they are only gonna get released in hd-dvd / blu-ray next year or so. Oh and in relating news Lego Star wars 2: The Original Trilogy (always fun for the little ones) will also be released on the Xbox 360 (already announced for all the other platforms). Release date is set to be the 12th of September.

Hopefully this will inspire more people to make those hilarious Star Wars Lego parodies

As I understood it, they're already busy getting the "Special Edition" revamp treatment, so we could be waiting for a while.

I thought the only reprocessing the new trilogy were getting was the 3D process Lucas is doing for a rerelease.

I guess he could make some small changes along the way though, I think the new trilogy had some small changes made to them on their original DVD release.
