I was sat here tonight and then the trailer for the new movie Waiting. A flick about sex, partying, and food. Think American Pie set in a fast food establishment.

It stars Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris. Need I say more?

Although it got me thinking. Ryan Reynolds did really well to break out of the mould he seems to have gotten himself into by starring in (imo) the great Blade:Trinity. He did a great job in getting away from the teen comedy-esque genre that sweeped the world starting with American Pie. Something I thought that would provoke a serious change in his acting jobs.

But does anyone think that there is a way to break away from things after they have been almost set in stone for such a long period of time?
