Actually, having seen Wahlberg in Shooter, I'm slightly more optimistic but it'll really work if he's dubbed over by James McCaffrey. Then I'm all for it.

Feel the Payne!
Yeah, yeah, the thread title sucks, so sue me
Fox is making a Max Payne film and the title role has been cast. He's being played by none other than Mark Wahlberg. Now this is a casting that i'm not keen on. Wahlberg really doesn't have the grit or edge for Payne from what i've seen of him previously.
Maybe i'll be surprised though.
