Techie-Type Question....

I don't know if it's just my stupid computer or the site (not this one) that's at fault... but here goes...

I visit a Smallville site very regularly with no problems until today. When i try to get onto the site as usual, i'm getting the front page and maybe five seconds later i get a "404 document not found" error message. A friend of mine is getting the same message but another friend isn't and is accessing the site as usual... the site is the Devoted to Smallville site...any thoughts as what could be the problem, is it my computer or is it the site's? as i'm very puzzled by this (what's new?

Might well be the site. Could be ISP-related. Are the two of you who can't get to this page with the same ISP?

It's possible that the person who can get to this page, isn't actually retrieving it directly from the web site (could be locally cached).

I'll have a think...

Keenangel *Fourteen phonecalls a night??!!*

I cleared my temporary internet cookies and that seems to have done the trick (for now...) But i've alerted the mods at the site in question about a possible problem, considering i haven't been the only one experiencing that type of problem.
