I use bitlord, but the same sort of thing happens if you have a lot of UPloading then it uses all the bandwidth so no other requests get out. There shoudl be something in the preferences to allow you to throttle back the speed so it only uses say 80% rather than everything.
Azureus Bittorrent Client
Hi folks,
I was recently recommended to use a bittorrent client called Azureus, and this afternoon decided to give it a test run, but came across a hurdle - the damn thing seems to cut off any internet access while it's running, meaning I can't access MSN, Firefox, etc while trying to download stuff, which it also has trouble doing (nothing seems to get above the grand speed of of 0 bps).
Anyone have any advice to help me sort the damn thing?

Also do keep in mind that a client like Azureus makes a lot connections to the outside world. Some of the cheaper modems / routers cannot handle this amount of connections which could be a reason everything else stops to work as the modem is flooded with connection requests. But the 100% usage of your upload would also do give you similar effects.

Try BitComet - you can adjust everything as needed
