I tend to find a game that I adore and play it to death, Deus Ex is probably my favourite ever game, I managed to complete it on the top level without ever actualy getting shot once, but then I realised how sad I actually was

GTA San Andreas was the last one that I spent too much time on.

I'm eagerly looking forward to a game that combines a sci-fi Cyberpunk Deus Ex setting, with the freedom and scope of the GTA series. Any ideas?

Not sure of a game that fits the bill 100% but the next big thing in the genre RPG market looks to be Bioshock, which is from the team that made System Shock 2, which kind of rewrote the genre (and Deus Ex capitalised on).

Personally Im totally looking forward to Mass Effect. KOTOR was a exactly the sort of RPG experience I like, and this is their attempt to top that, without the shackles of a licenced property. It also looks un-smegging-believable.

I'm pretty diverse in what I like games wise. I love the GTA type games and played San Andreas to death. Also really like some racing games and I can just play them for hours on end trying to better myself. Currently still playing Trackmania Nations every so often but it seems to be wearing off a little.

Another genre I really like is the classical Quests like Space Quest etc I can really get into those point and click adventure games. Ashame most of the stuff is 3d run around kinda crap ala tombraider nowadays. But seriously looking forward to games like Runaway Adventure 2. And last but certainly not least I'm completely addicted to real time strategy (RTS) games. I played the C&C series (with exception of Renegade) to death only very recently stopped playing Zero Hours because it was getting a bit boring. Good fun playing with my girlfriend over the internet especially consider we have very different tactics.

I picked up X-Men Legends 2 cheap a couple of weeks ago and can't stop playing that. I'mwaiting for '24' and 'Rogue Trooper' to drop in price before i get those. And also the next Star Wars Lego, due out in september *drool*

Currently I'm addicted to Galactic Civilisations 2, a turn-based strategy game ala MOO.

I loved Deus Ex, I also like traditional RPGs like Wizardry 8, or the very cool futuristic rpg Fallout... But I still think the pencil-and-paper kind with a group of friends around a table beats 'em all

Another game series I really like is Homeworld...

I went out and bought a PS2 a few weeks ago because I was finally sick of any decent games coming out on the Game Cube.

I got Black, which is awesome if a little short, and 24 which while good, has some bone idle AI bad guys.

Then I bought Star Wars Battle Front 1 and 2 Gran Tourismo 4, which I frequently lose days in and now have a self-imposed embargo until exams are over, Max Payne, cos I found really cheap, and X-men the official game... which is frankly a pretty poor effort considering that they hyped it so much and for a change haven't based it directly on a movie. It would probably be a lot better with a greater variation of playable characters, like legends which rocked, but I don't design games.... I just play them to death. In my opinion though, the greatest game I've played is Still Rogue Squadron II - Rogue Leader on the Game Cube. Probably because I'm a huge Star Wars freak, but I enjoyed playing and felt encouraged to replay... again... and again... and again...

Not sure which console to get next though... I'm stuck now... the PS3 which is supposed to have better specs and playablility but us way too expensive, or the X-box 360 which see's the final outing for the Master Chief

Id have to say go for the 360, while initial quality titles were slow to arrive theres an avalanche of top quality stuff coming in a few months, in fact that was the main message from E3, MS totally shocked with the bredth and quality of software.

PS3 as you say is very very expensive, and again it seems all the really top games are slipping further from launch so unless you are willing to hold off until well into 2007, you might not have that much fun.

I got a slimline PS2 for my birthday in May and I only have silly games like Singstar, Buzz, Tony Hawks and GTA. I love my PS2!

Loving Rogue Trooper on the PS2- I don't have an X-box so this is as close to Halo as I'm liable to get for a while.

Probably will wait quite a while before getting a PS3 (if I even bother) cause there is no way I'm paying over £400 for a gaming machine!

Hi folks, long time no see! I looked up T21 and saw a gaming forum, so i couldn't let it go untouched
After a year or so of losing my life to World Of Warcraft on PC, I've finally dragged myself away, and bought an xbox 360. Its slightly less time consuming, and is a lot more 'pick up and play' than a MMoRPG.
Oblivion is a great game and is a superb follow up to Morrowind. I have Call Of Duty2, PGR3, and Burnout Revenge, but tbh, they go mostly unplayed. Upcoming titles I'm looking forward to are Lord Of The Rings; Battle for Middle-Earth 2 (14 July release), which is the first RTS on the 360. I've been playing the PC demo, and although I am pathetically bad at RTS games, I still enjoy the concept.ChromeHounds (7th July release)is the other game I have on pre-order. After the joy of Steel Battalion on the xbox, I crave for more Mech action.

I'm more of a PC gamer, although I've been known for my marathon sessions on the PS2. Thinking about a 360 come Xmas though, so will have to wait and see.

Been addicted to Need for speed: Most Wanted recently. The sheer selection of cars is awesome. Although my personal fave (and most tricked out) ride is the Mustang GT, huzzah! At last, something that goes above 200mph! lol
