I download and have been playing the Halo 3 beta... you'll be glad to know it's good!

First things first: the graphics are much better than screenshots led us to believe. The maps are vibrant and detailed, with that classic Halo style. True, they don't look like Gears of War, but Halo's maps a huge open environments, with multiple players, opposed to Gears' small environments.

Suffice it to say, Halo 3 looks great, and it's not finished yet.

Gameplay wise, it's definitely evolutionary, not revolutionary. Tried and tested Halo gameplay; it's fast and furious. The equipment is nice, adding an extra level of strategy to the game.

I'm enjoying it so far anyway. Anybody else playing?
