We don't mean to whine - actually, yes we do - but please, PLEEEEEEEASE come to our little convention! It's likely to be the last 'Quantum Leap' convention and we really need your support (Speaking of, thanks to Jola for posting details on here). I mean, the committee are now all bummed out about the fact that there is a Roswell/Smallville con on the same weekend because we all want to go! We'd be willing to time share attendees???
We're planning some really good parties and, though we can't promise a big name guest star, we're going to have fun.
Is that enough of a beg/plead? Please come along and join in the fun. It'll be a blast, promise!

I've never been to a QL convention but I used to love the show and have to say for me it would personally depend on guests and final costs as I've only committed myself to one convention so far next year.
I'm sure you won't need to beg, if people can afford it they will go but there are a lot of other bits & pieces on around those few months already

I must say a huge welcome to the boards Keep us updated with any changes - but just sit back and relax. We welcome fresh news here and if people want to go they will
Edit Just checked out the site properly, didn't realise it was in Birminghm, that may assist people on costs as its a little more central and just got to mention that's an excellent rate you have on the hotel rooms

Just to let you all know that we have given the convention website a complete redesign and overhaul, and that there are now a variety of payment options available.

They now have their first guest confirmed. Taken from their mailing list:-
Our first confirmed guest is Natasha Pavlovich who played Marina Oswald in the episode 'Lee Harvey Oswald' Natasha attended both 'KC leap' and 'Orlando leap' and since then has become a fan favorite. We have also had intrest from John D'aquino who will be in europe at the time of the convention.
Unfortunately I've just received the following email saying the event has been cancelled
Anyone who has already booked will be receiving refunds.
Hi All, Just a quick message to let you all know that Leap 2003 has now been officially cancelled, we held out for as long as we could but now we really can't leave it any longer and will have to call it a day as we just didn't get the support we had hoped for.
We were lead to believe that a Quantum Leap convention in the U.K was in demand, but obviously not.
