Starfury Ascendant (28 - 30th March 2003)

STARFURY ASCENDANT will be taking place from 28-30 March 2003 at the Thistle Hotel, Heathrow, London (formerly known as the Heathrow Park Hotel).

The first confirmed guests are:
Dina Meyer, star of STARSHIP TROOPERS, JONNY MNEMONIC, DRAGONHEART, BATS, STAR TREK NEMESIS and the forthcoming TV series BIRDS OF PREY at her first ever convention appearance.

Gigi Edgley, Chiana in FARSCAPE, back by popular demand.

Further info in the next day or so, plus, hopefully, two further
guests.

I liked Dina Meyer in Starship Troopers, so I'm very impressed with this - yet to see anything of Birds of Prey yet, but the reviews seem good

And I *still* haven't seen Gigi yet!

I'll probably phone up in the morning and book that way.

I'm guessing that PK-1 isn't going to happen now as it's been removed from the front page of the Starfury website.

Still got plenty of time to save money for Ascendant and End of Days.

While we're on the subject, anyone booked or booking and want a roomie for Ascendant? I've got a room for EoD so if you're looking for a room let me know.

Well phoned up this morning and booked so that's sorted now

Definitely looking forward to this. Two Farscape guests and Dina Meyer (loved her in both Startship Troopers and the Birds of Prey pilot) - woohoo! This is also the motivation I need to get that cheap airsoft Steyr AUG and convert it into a Peacekeeper pulse rifle.

Subject: New Guest For ASCENDANT: Marc Singer V/Beastmaster

We are delighted to announce that a true Sci-Fi legend, Marc Singer, best known as Mike Donovan in the TV series V and Dar in the film THE BEASTMASTER, will be making his first ever European convention appearance (and indeed, first convention appearance in a long time)
at STARFURY: ASCENDANT next March.

"V" was one of the first scifi shows I watched
