this is daylight robbery and even though i am a huge fan of the devine Mr B, i shall not be going. I might go to a TV appearance if he does any though, and they'll be free!
I debated wether or not to put the contact details in this post but decided not to. if you really want them though, post and i'll supply them.

Samphirette - if you do go hon, you can have my 2 friday tickets cos i'll be in Alton Towers (that offer is open to Spike the Vulture, or anyone else)
DM - I thought you'd already sorted yours
Spike - as selfish as it sounds I'm not giving up yet until I've worked out all the possiblities like robbing a bank for £100 +

well i dunno if i wanna go anyway cuz none of you lot are. However you tried flogging them off on ebay or something? and DM i thought you gave yours to those 2 fit birds?
woah, i jsut thought of something, if i can get 2 tickets free of one of you. they could be very very helpful for me even if i don't go, but i dunno if they will be helpful yet, i gotta find a few things out!
Spike you are also completely missing out on non-transfers - unfortunately without a ticket in my mitts ( ) I think you are unlikely to pass off for me without id

I did - but one of them is out of work and they can't afford to travel down from Wales - hence the offer if anyone else wanted them

I only know of a handful of members on here that were discussing going to the Jealous Events David Boreanaz days (if you did none of you have posted any feedback - shame on you )
However, some of you may or may not be aware that the event was featured on BBC's Watchdog tonight.
Having not been to the event, I am not personally aware of any issues that may or may not have taken place.
Listening to the Watchdog event it appears that many things were running behind, apparently did not happen, or did not go as smoothly as people expected for the amount of money they paid overall.
Watchdog did not touch on which particular days the complaints refered to, or whether the attendees viewed had been to previous events of this nature (a good few of us know that conventions don't always run smoothly) However, as the "event" had not been advertised as being on a convention scale (ie agendas spread over a weekend) presumably the organisers viewed each day as a separate mountain.
In case any of our members did attend the show and have any issues, please find below places that maybe of some assistance to you.
The Jealous Events website has following the show placed up an Official Statement to Watchdog as obviously the full version was not shown tonight.
Before posting any issues on the site you should note this thread by the customer services manager asking people not to "air their views for the public" and that any problems should be emailed to them to be dealt with privately.
It also appears that a message board has been set up by fans due to this where they can discuss openly about their issues and Watchdog. outstanding issues board
For those who wish to view fans pictures of the event visit the Jealous Events message board or alternatively some more official type shots onthe BBC website
Please note that T21 are a neutral site providing a service in posting the above to our own members who may want to discuss anything about this event.

I didnt go to this event but im actually shocked at the amounts of money changing hands at this event and promises allegedly not being kept. The thing im afraid of is these "proffesional" events will price the smaller "fan run" cons out of the picture as they may price the guests out of their reach.
Thank goodness for Starfury, Sector 14, Wolf, Crashdown ect . I would recommend the first 3 to anyone(i've never been to a crashdown one yet but have heard good reports).

I went to this event and it was terrible compared to other cons I have been to.
I went there at 2am,just to be sure that I could get a picture ticket for my friend from Arizona,Im glad we did as apparently there was only 50 tickets left to sell on the day.
The quality of the pictures to get signed were bad, they were often blurred.
No backdrops used at all in the photos
Large amounts of time wasted just sitting around with nothing on stage
Lots of confusion as to seating, people were sitting in Gold when they werent gold ticket holders etc.
We werent allowed to hug, touch or even breath probsbly when around David. The stewards rushed us out so quick that you got tongue tied and couldnt think what to say. There was no chair next to David so we had to lean over next to him to get in the picture,Some people didnt even have David looking at the camera.
David just didnt seem himself on the day,I have heard things about his manager that are not good.
The other guests were great though,I adored Nicky and Kelly.
I wrote a letter of complaint to Jealous as I waited 4 years and couldnt even touch David.I was disappointed. When I posted on the board it was deleted and I was PMED.I was told my complaint was being looked into. They are deleting anything on the board that isnt positive.
In all,I think Jealous have some explaining to do but I dont think we will hear much more from the organisers,

This was posted to a mailing list:-
If anyone on this board is still missing any photos from the DB fiasco in Brighton last summer, a batch of about 70 photos have just turned up and will shortly be scanned and put into an online gallery at the Events Rescue site (www.eventsrescue.com).
Anybody who is still waiting for a photo should (aside from applying for sainthood!) let myself, Tracy or one of the admin staff at the board know if they see their photo online and they will be reunited with it as soon as possible.
Also, if you recognise any of the people in the photos, any help you can give to identify them would be appreciated. If the users of this board could cross-post this message to other sites where people affected by this problem may lurk, I would also be very grateful.
Thank you!
