Does anyone have photographs of the 2002 event as I would love to see them

I won't be sampling their party this year either. What is it with events insisting on cramming stuff in the same weekends as this falls on the same weekend as SG6 in London (which I'd rather go to if I have the money to afford tickets by then) soul selling time me thinks

There's also a good chance the Vampire groups have their halloween parties in London that weekend so it'll be cheaper for me to make those.

My friend has bought my ticket and also an extra one for the medieval banquet with the star guests (although it can't be much of a banquet for £69 as it's only an hour and a half!)

Just wondering if anyone was going whether they had any suggestions on where to stay. I've been looking for two weeks without avail, most places won't let me book Sat night only, and others are fully booked. I know Blackpool has hundreds of hotels and B&B's but I'm losing the will to live checking them all!!!

I'm not going (not being picky, I actually can't afford to make ANY event that weekend - whitby, ireland, london!!
- especially whitby where the proper vamp parties will be )

Can I suggest that you try Laterooms its quite helpful for finding *some* hotels available on that weekend (doesn't work for ALL hotels, only the ones using this system)

I'm not sure how close any of these are to Winter Gardens. The only way you would find out is asking the hotels direct, or talking to the Blackpool Tourist Board

Looks terrific!!! I will call some of them tomorrow and fingers crossed will have somewhere to rest my head Saturday night!!

So how was it? Did you enjoy yourself?

It was absolutely brilliant!!!! By far the best party I have been to this year.
The Rodeo Bull was sooooooooooooo much fun!!!!!!!!!!!! They also had a casino, karaoke and a bouncy pugel stick thingee!!!! Everyone there was really friendly and there was just a really great atmosphere. I met some terrific people but sadly forgot to get emails.

Still think it was expensive as the guests were only Rudolph, Kelly and Kelly's girlfriend Stacey, and £70 to have dinner with them sat 30ft away is a little pricey to say the least, but guests notwithstanding it was a really good night!

£70? Jesus christ!

Yep, £70 quid for the medieval banquet, and £40 just to get into the party, so £110 all together. Definitely not a cheap night, but as I said it was enjoyable if not worth £110!!!!!! The organisers must have made money hand over fist! The problem was that the guests weren't announced until two days before the event, and my friend booked the tickets last month to ensure we could get in, and of course we hoped that for the extra £70 it would be somebody pretty special!! Oh well, you live and learn!!!
