Tickets for STARFURY: PROMETHEUS will go on sale this Friday.

Tickets for this event are priced at £65 for adults; £30 for children aged 14 and under; children aged 7 and under are free.

The event will be taking place at the Quality Central Hotel, Glasgow on 18-20 June 2004. There will be 4 or 5 guests at this event. The first confirmed guests are Clare Kramer and Julie Benz.

There will be 500 tickets available for this event. The aim is to run a very small and friendly BUFFY / ANGEL convention, along the lines of STARFURY's first one, BAD GIRLS.

As a result, there should be minimum of queuing, and a lot more personal interaction between the guests and attendees.

Amy Acker has agreed to attend STARFURY: PROMETHEUS, completing that events line up. Amy is extremely excited about both HYPERION and PROMTHEUS.

So far nearly half of the available tickets have been sold for this event.

Information regrding STARFURY: PROMETHEUS.

Tickets for PROMETHEUS have not been sent out yet, but will be sent out either the end of this week or next wee. As the event isn't until June, there's no need to panic yet.

The guest line up is Amy Acker, Andy Hallett, Vincent Kartheiser, Clare Kramer, Julie Benz and Neil Roberts. There will be no additional guests, unless we have to replace a guest due to cancelation.

Guests appear subject to acting and professional work commitments.

During the autograph session, with the exeption of Neil Roerts, all the guests will sign one personal item free of charge. If you do not have a personal item, all attendees will be given a colour convention programme which they can use for signatures.

If the item is BUFFY, ANGEL or CHARMED related then it must be an officially liscensed item.

We will have a selection of glossy 10x8 pictures of each guest available for purchase or £10. The guests will sign up to 3 of the picures featuring them in addition to the personal item.

As Neil Roberts is a bonus guest, attendees wanting his autoraph must purchase a photo at £10.

There will be a photo session at which you can have your picture taken with a guest by a professional photograper. The picture will be developed and signed by the actor, and ready for collection that weekend.

The price of this will be £10 per actor, with the exception of Neil Roberts, who will be £8.

It is strictly one attendee in the picture only. However, under 14's may join their guardian in the picture at no extra cost.

The cost of the picture does not include postage if you are not able to collect it over the course of the weekend. The cost of postage is £5 per household (it costs this much as they have to be sent special delivary). Please note that this is per household, not per pictue, so it will cost the same whether we are sending you one or five pictures.

There will be the opportunity to have a picture taken with all 6 guests. This group picture will cost £45, and will be printed as a 10x8.

As the guest line up is finalised, a schedule will be posted shortly for this event.

There will be a disc each night. The themes ave not been decided upon, and suggestions are welcome.

Tickets for this event are priced at £65 for adults and £30 for children aged 14 and under. Children aged 7 and under are free. Children must be accompanied by a guardian who has registered for the event. The ticket gives access for the full weekend.

Strictly no refunds.

Currently over half of the tickets have been sold.

Twin Rooms are £80 per night and single rooms are £65 per night. Details of how to book rooms will be posted here shortly.

However, I'm not sure what the catch is but via the hotels own website if you user the "internet users rate" button there are offers as low as £36.75 for a single/double. The only thing I can see is its "room only" - but who really eats breakfast at cons

If I seriously had anyone driving/travelling through this way, I'd rather do this one than Hyperion for those rates!!

For anyone going to this one...Amy Acker will NOT be appearing....she has landed a film role which starts filming in a week..so shortened appearance at Hyperion but not able to come to Prometheus.

We tend to take any information direct from yahoo and board groups as then the details are already made public (and are more likely to be correct as we can't rely on giving the members rumours)

I don't mind which member post ongoing information as I'm not around much at the moment to trawl organisers' sites. Jola & I both tend to use quote brackets for specific cut & pastes using [ quote ] at the beginning and [ /quote ] at the end (without the spaces)

Haven't seen any news about Amy's shortened stay at Hyperion. Once we see a schedule we'll update that thread too.
