Events Rescue?
This board may be of interest to people:-
Events Rescue
It's been set up by some fans from what I can gather re various events and conventions. Basically it looks like a website/board that you can speak freely in and get advice (especially if you are a newbie) and read reviews of events that have taken place.
Worth a look as it seems to have something for everyone.
