ADVERTISEMENT

Summer Glau, best know as River Tamm in FIREFLY, and also as the allet dancer in the classic ANGEL episode, WAITING IN THE WINGS, has agreed to attend STARFURY: THE WHITE ROOM, on 29-31 October 2004 at the Thistle Hotel, Heathrow.

All guest appearances are, or course, subject to acting work
commitments.

Oh crap.....I wanted Nathan Fillion to go, I don't have anything against Summer Glau, she was really nice when I met her and River is one of my favourite characters on Firefly, I just wanted another pic with "captain tightpants"

OK I'm new to all this convention lark so can someone let me know what to expect at the White Room. I have booked tickets but apart from SFX event last year have never been to a convention.

Stephanie Romanov, who portrayed the scheming, evil, bt very sexy
lawyer Lilah Morgan in ANGEL has agreed to attend STARFURY: THE WHITE ROOM at the Thistle Hotel, Heathrow on 29-31 October 2004.

Stephanie makes an incredible double act with one of our other guests, Christian Kane, so there is certain to be much fun onstage (and maybe the odd light sabre duel in the car park!).

Other guests attending this event, subject to acting work commitments, include J August Richards, Jonathan M Woodward, Summer Glau and Carrie Grace.

OK I'm new to all this convention lark so can someone let me know what to expect at the White Room. I have booked tickets but apart from SFX event last year have never been to a convention.

This will probably be very relaxed as there's only about 600 tickets for sale, a lot different to most other conventions, you're very likely to meet all the guests. So you won't be rushing around and the queues won't be as long so there will be no painful feet. Starfury are very good at organising conventions. There will be lots of partying and there will be something to do all day, so you won't be just sitting around. There seems to be a lot of good guests going, so fun shall be had by all.....

Was going to, it would be my first real con in aaaaaggges, but have realised it's only two weeks after GenCon so I'll be ever so slightly broke.

The temptation to splurge on this one is increasing....

This might be enough to get some girls reaching for their purses!!

Subject: WHITE ROOM UPDATE!

Dayne Johnson, head of make up for all 5 seasons of ANGEL, will be along for THE WHITE ROOM in October.

He had a ton of fun at our last few events - and we're delighted to welcome him back.

Also, we're planning something a bit special and unique. For the Sunday morning, Dayne is planning on getting Christian all tatoo'd up for the photo session!

For the Sunday photo session, we'll have Christian in full character with all those special mystical tatoo's in place. We just hope that they don't make him invisible to Dave's camera!

Th full details of this session are still being worked out, so further details will be posted soon.

And there is still more to come!

Given that somebody has just posted on the STARFURY e-group that they are getting all of their friends to bomberd the e-group with complaints about the decision about the photo policy it is clear that many people will not accept this situation.

This sadly leaves me with no choice.

THE WHITE ROOM will be the final STARFURY event to feature ANGEL guests.

Subject: THE WHITE ROOM ticket update

Just to let you all know that from 6pm on Tuesday 19th October, the box office for THE WHITE ROOM will close and we will not accept any further ticket bookings.

Tickets will not be available on the door of the event.

Me and my wife (or should that be my wife and I?) are going.

I might be coming on the sunday - my mate has a spare ticket, so all depends on work. Hmm think i feel a cold coming on
