Subject: STARFURY: PRIME
For STARFURY: PRIME, our BUFFY convention for 2005, we will be returning to Blackpool and the Norbreck Castle.
The event will be taking place on 16-18 September 2005.
By the time this event takes place, the Norbreck Castle will have finished an £8million refurbishment. All the rooms, decor and facilities of the hotel will have been significantly improved, which we hope will greatly enhance your experience of the event.
We have also negotiated room rates for attendees staying at the Norbreck Castle that are significantly lower than previous years.
For those staying from Friday 16th September for 3 nights
£55 per person per night for a single room bed and breakfast
£42 per person per night for a double room bed and breakfast
For those staying from either Friday 16th or Saturday 17th September for 2 nights £60 per person per night for a single room bed and breakfast £47 per person per night for a double room bed and breakfast
Early Arrivals: We have a special rate for the Thursday night. £45 per person for Thursday 15th September for a single room bed and breakfast £42 per person for Thursday 15th September for a double room bed and breakfast
Tickets for PRIME will be priced at £75 and will go on sale on Monday 11th October from 10am.
There will be a PRIME launch party held in central London on Saturday 9th October. Entrance will be free, and you'll have a chance to purchase tickets early. Further details soon. The first guest announcements will be made at this party.

The party themes for STARFURY PRIME are as follows:-
Friday Night:- Vampires and Monsters
Saturday Night:- Birthday Party
We'll be having Birthday celebrations for two of the guests. It's Neil Roberts birthday the weekend of PRIME, and I know that he's already planning on making a bit of a party of it! Also, Clare Kramer's birthday is 2 weeks prior to PRIME, so I thought we could all put on a surprise Birthday Party for her.
Please don't discuss this on the STARFURY Forum, as I know Neil posts on their under a psudenym quite regularly.

Just got word back from his manager. Due to scheduling issues, Nick will not be able to attend Starfury.
Collectormania was scheduled after he booked "Kitchen Confidential," so I'd say not to worry about that
I was informed by his manager that there was a good chance that Kitchen Confidential would clash, but had been awaiting final confirmation of this.
I've shot an e-mail off to him, but assume that I know have to find a replacement for Nick.
I'm glad that Nick is working though.

Ticket update from the Yahoo Group:
We are now making available to purchase one day only tickets for STARFURY PRIME.
These will be priced at £25 for adults and £20 for children aged 14 and under. There will be a £2 booking fee for those paying by credit or debit cards.
You will need to specify when purchasing which day you whish to attend.
A one day ticket will entitle you to:-
- attend all the guest talks that day
- attend that nights party
- access to the dealers room
One day ticket holders may also purchase autographs from the guests. Unlike full weekend ticket holders they will not be eligable for any free autographs from any of the guests.
One day ticket holders will also be eligable to purchase tickets for that days photo sessions, but should be aware as the event is a full weekend event the photos may not be ready for collection by time they leave, and in such circumstances they will be liable for postage costs.
One day tickets for Prime can be purchased either by calling us on 07930 319 119 or by using the online booking at www.starfury.co.uk

This has just come through on the Starfury Yahoo Group
Sadly Max Grodenchick will be unable to attend STARFURY PRIME next weekend.
He's just got an acting job, and has to return to the US.
He will still be attending SFBall: Reunion 3 this weekend.
However Alice Krige, who portrayed the Borg Queen in the film STAR TREK: FIRST CONTACT and in STAR TREK: VOYAGER will be along on the Saturday and Sunday of the event.

hi again! so who actually went to prime 
i did, but i didnt find it as good as fusion. one good thing though, was that you could pick up your photos on the night you had them taken. i am still trying to track one down that i had done at fusion
