I keep promising myself I'll manage to get to one of these someday
Giles & Witchfest
Don't know if anyone would be interested in this but I would like to inform people about an event and other events that follow it.
Basically i know there are a lot of people that are either into it or who are just interested in wicca/paganism etc... this is for those people who may not know about witchfest events. For info about the most recent event and how to get you ticket just go to www.witchfest.net and how to become a member for future events & cheep tickets go to the main site at www.witchcraft.org
ticket prices will be as follows COA (Children of Artemis) members £8 non-members £12
Anthoney Stewart Head (Giles from Buffy) is going to be filming at the International event on Saturday 6th Nov for his Documentary and is fine with people say hi etc...
There are other events for 2005 almost completely sorted but here's where n when they are
International - Fairfield Hall/Croyden/London - Nov sat 6th & Sun 7th 2004
London - fairfield Hall/Croyden/London - May Sat 14th 2005
Wales - Millenium Stadium/Cardiff - June Sat 18th 2005
Scotland - (place to be confirmed)/ - July Sat 2nd 2005
Ireland - (Place to be confirmed)/Dublin - Date to be confirm
you don't even have to be interested in the whole wicca thing you can come for the bands the beer & the pretty things on the stalls only if you wish, i mean the traders sell some great stuff from pretty trinkets, clothes, possably mead, sword n daggers, incense so it's worth coming just to browse and drink beer and watch bands such as - The Medieval Baebes/Scary Bitches/The Morrighan/Kitty Hudson and many more to be arranged. There are always Talks/Workshops/Shows & book singings during the day time to keep you occupied so why not come and have a look around.
i will keep this updated if anything gets changed or added, if you'd like to know anything just ask away as i'm now working for them lol.

So is it kinda like a wiccan trade show thing? Tony Head is jsut filmnig there though, not signnig autographs or posing for pics? I'm a little confused
yes it's a wiccan/witchcraft/pagan event whatever you want to call it but he is filming there and is ok with people asking for a pic or offering him a drink lol he didn't turn down any tequilas as far as i'm aware when i worked with him on the same documentary in bristol with kris.
and if were lucky enough he'll party with everyone or atleast have a few drinks before he goes (whenever that will be) i'm hoping he'll stay for the party atleast.

Its a convention for pagans/wiccans/witches etc...same idea as the cons you go to except the genre is witchy. we have talks, workshops, dealers hall, bands, and a disco
