The Usual Nos Night Gossip (Inc School Report)
Well.... someone had to start the thread and as Len was poorly sick 
and we had to come home mega early here it is

...finally makes it to a computer...My body is still in toxic-shock from the weekend, but it was worth it.

And yes I did get back OK today, and after a delicate cycle home from town I went straight back to bed. Thank *pick preferred deity or whatever* for night shifts.Flowers Thanks for the sofa on Satur .. sorry, I mean Sunday Morning. Teresa Big thanks for organizing the whole School Disco thing. It was well worth it.
Big shouts (or whatever it is the groovy young kids say these days) to Ethan, Sange, Whistler, Taz, CJL, Rally, Kate, Nutty Bat, Astronut, Lioness, Inc, and anyone else my alcohol fried brain has forgotten to mention.
Special mention to Yvonne, as you always seem to take the most .. flattering .. of photographs of me. In fact, didn't you take that ever-so-fetching one of me doing my Billy Idol impression at T-Party? I'm sure that my Slash-Air-Guitar-and-Head-Banging looked far more impressive at the time. At least you didn't get a photo of me swinging my pants to MC Hammer... Remind me to do serious damage to any camera I see you holding in future.
Anyway, I'm off to detox for at least .. oh. Well that will be until Blackpool, I guess...

OK, sorry this took a while. But it was a very cool, long drunken weekend! Wa-hey!
Shame the pool tournament didn't go ahead (cos I was on fire the previous night!) But Nos was pretty cool, if brief, and School Disco rocked!
SPIKE - Happy birthday again. You certainly seemed to enjoy yourself! And you were given the gift of Groove! I'll even forgive you for waking me up at 8:45!
JayJay - We didn't rock out to Linkin Park, but Sweet Child o' Mine made up for it. Oh, and you sucked on the dance machine!
Red - I can't believe I missed you in your school uniform! Thanks for giving me the chance to dance! I just about made it home on Sunday. And we'll definitely have to go to the *northern-accent-induced-expletive* bar sometime!
Yvonne - Cool photos which I managed to stay out of pretty much! Thanks for the dances too, I'm impressed you managed to stay away from the 'pretty guys' for so long. And you weren't fooling anyone with your "That's so unlike me!"
Lioness and Taz - The people who gave SPIKE the groove! It took perserverance but you got there in the end! It was wicked to see you again.
CJL - Woah dude! You were really going for it at School Disco! "...And I would walk five hundred miles ..."
Ethan - Pleased to meet you finally. Don't worry, once you get to know everyone I'm sure you'll fit in!

A wee bit late in replying, but here goes:
School Disco was one of the best Nos night/Tangent meets I've been too.
Everyone who came along were brilliant, so I'd just like to thank all my dancing & drinking partners very very much for an unforgettable night.
Yvonne, the pics are great!

Rather late in doing my run down, but have been rather busy with my own site. I also like reading what everyone else has to say before I do my own.
Anyway, it was realy good to see everyone who was there again after missing out on last month's Nos.
Firstly, huge thanks have to go to Teresa for organising the School Disco tickets. I had a really good night and would love to go clubbing with you guys again soon. Not necessarily to School Disco every time. The outfits kind of lost their fun and appeal after seeing the hundredth thousandth costume, I'm thinking we should maybe go for a gym class look next time girls?
Secondly huge hugs go to Taz for letting me and Ciri stay over yet again. Also thanks for doing my hair and all the other little things you do for me whilst you're there.
The Birthday Boy SPIKE I'm glad we finallly gave you your groove even if it take me and Taz all night! Hope you had a good one.
Inc You might look a little old for a school boy, but you can party with the rest of us anytime. I loved your "school report" and agree with you on the prices. They were kind of steep!
Cat, I'm glad I could help with the headache, but thanks as it got rid of mine too I remember you and JayJay being all sweet together in the bus station when you told JayJay to go sort Taz out and protect your honour, but he'd rather not because it would mean having to leave you alone for a while.
Choirmistress Yvonne, you did an excellent job trying to keep everyone in tune. And you found plenty of "pretty boys" to take your fancy, even if only one came up to standard. Thanks for the captions on the two photos you managed to capture me on. Only you could "cameo" me like that!
NuttyBat Whatever made you think of "Ostrich?"
CJL did a good job of keeping the Scottish end up for us and although PictureOfFlowers didn't join in the school trip singing, he danced the night away with the rest of us.
It was also good to have the rest of you along for the trip Astronut, Nicola,Clare and Angela. I can't wait to see the group School photos. Actualy make that I can...I'm in the front row. Argh!
Special mentions go out to Rally and Master[/b] for big hugs as usual, although Steve, watch out when picking me up in a skirt. The whole world doesn't want to see my rear!

Finally had a chance to look in on T21. The photos and captions were great. Although next time I'll run faster to escape the camera!
It was great seeing everyone again, especially the fellow lunatics I 'sang' and danced the night away with! Big thanks to Teresa for making sure we had the opportunity to let our hair down. Can't wait for the next one!
Lioness - in answer to your question, ostrich farms are getting quite popular (and weren't affected by foot and mouth!), and I was curious to see whether anyone knew what noise they make! I'm sorry, it'll not happen again!
