Big thanks to Tam and all the staff for what turned out to be a great weekend. I was in two minds about attending this year but I'm really glad I did.

Was great to see everyone (and there are too many of you to name) especially those who I hadn't seen forever.

Too many (hazy) memories but I will comment on holding a certain drunken girlies bunches while she puked in the toilet, Milky and the 'alleged' threesome with a couple of what appeared to be underage girls (and I use the word girls very loosely *woof* ), towelling socks *shudder*, little puppy boys and the fartiest roomie ever

Friday Night
The first of 3 late ones. My rocking compadre PoF and myself were firstly off to see The Ataris at The Astoria, seeing as it was one year ago to the day that they played there. Upon missing them last year, there was no chance we were gonna miss them this time. Quite simply, they rocked! After that the 2 amigoes then mosied on up to Euston to catch a train to Brum (Fitting in a burger king on the way). Around about 1.30 we get to the hotel and go round a couple of room to say our hellos, but I had to bail to our room 'cos I was shattered. Woo Hoo! Party day was the next day!

Saturday
Up and atom for the day ahead. Was off to the Bullring shopping centre for a gander, the posse included Jimi The Gay Cowboy Quote:Wanted! Dead or aliiiiive (Bon Jovi stylee lol) who was later greeted with a nice wee horsie for him to mount

Got back to the Brindley and realised that there was no need to waste time when drinks were a quid!! Tally Ho!! Then headed back to the room to watch some rugby (Read that as Scotland getting a whoopin' off those loveable english. Fair play though, they were the better team, not like it's hard )

Got tarted up (Hey, it was a party, I couldn't not make an effort ) and went to meet KT and LW where I was greeted with a superb pressie

Headed over to the Brindley for some more 'Warming Up' in the main bar area. The show began. Now granted I screwed up a little on the music, I tried so hard to cover people that requested a certain something, but as it was, things went a little beyond my control. I hope you guys enjoyed it anyway.

At the end the ritualistic 'sacrifice' of a certain Mr Timberlake took place by the river. Not even my trusty Zippo could burn that mofo. Dammit!

After that as you can imagine with drinks being a quid, I was absolutely hammered. So the time had come to bail back to the hotel room. Later which I was disturbed in the night by a couple of divvies in towels Revenge will be sweet

Sunday
Was up at some godforsaken time on my own accord that I didn't know existed. Had a lovely brekkie with Gobstopper, Tam & Mon then headed up to get packed while the young avengers rest in their pit (ie PoF was still in bed and Spike was on the floor ) Then chilled in the hotel bar area. Goodbyes came and gone, then the handful that was left had a couple of drinks to say goodbye to the Brindley as it looks like that was our last time there.

Train journey home is hazy, I had some random sleep on there.

More goodbyes to KT & LW then PoF and me went to meet my other half (News on that in a minute) at Pimlico as we were seeing Lostprophets at Brixton Academy. Unfortunately the gig's shine was somewhat lost as with being so tired (and having a sore neck from headbanging) I couldn't enjoy it to it's full potential. Either way, I know a bloody good gig when I see one and this was defo in that category. Then it was time to comehome

The news mentioned above is that I am now officially engaged!! As the peeps will have saw on Saturday, there is now new found reason that I'm over the moon. Thank you to all that wished Clare and myself well.

Might do more later as I remember it....

But finally a massive thank you to Tam and the gang for setting this up and getting it arranged. It was a superb weekend.

Had a brilliant time so I'll do a quick recap..

Friday

Had my first ever trip to Liverpool to pick up DJ Billy then we made our way to Knutsford Services on the M6 to wait for Sydney. Got hold of her and we went at warp speed down the M6. Funniest point of the journey must have been when I decided to do the M6 toll "cause I'll be able to do a ton and a bit and there's never any cops on it.." and we're racing down the road and see the cops pull someone over just infront of us Arrived at the hotel, dumped everything and headed to the Brindley via the wrong Wetherspoons pub, As Stoo pointed out i'll probably go to the wrong city next year

Cheap drink was had and hilarity ensued. Shout-outs go to Rally & Gobstopper for keeping me entertained at the bar..can't remember what we were chatting about though cars maybe Also had a laugh chatting to Fiona the barmaid even when Taz came up and asked "whether her husband was being a nuisance" Then it was of to Reflex with Jay Jay, Taz, Sydney & ELC where we partied the night away and danced to Ant & Dec!!

Saturday

The trend started where my mobile phone alarm kept waking up me and roomie DJ Billy, sorry for not de-setting it bud Went down where I scrounged some brekkie then rustled up a posse and went for a wander round the shops. Were belatedley joined by The King Of Bling, Wale and Jimi The Gent (winner of the UK's gayest cowboy award 2004). Went for a McDonalds which I couldn't eat so decided on a liquid lunch Things rapidly went downhill from there with various horse jokes being 'trotted out' while Winnet The Horse tried to keep us sober by drinking our beer. Watched Chelsea getting beat then the first half of the rugby before ehading back to the hotel to get changed and contain the ritual defacing of posters Then it was off to the party. Had a laugh playing 'Tit Cricket' with the boys, till Yvonne gave me a roundhouse right Was also quite funny talking to Spike and his rent-a-friends. Fay was pretty fit though I remember stealing Noid's hat and attempting to become as cool a cowboy as Jimi, then swapping the hat with CJL for the 'super-jacket'. Can vaguely remember running about pretending I was Will Young, talking to Watcher Girl & Friend(that sounds so bad but I can't remember her name :s ) which was hilarious and chanting at Ethan Timberlake Much dancing was had and kudos go to the best dance partner ever, Monster...you were great

After that it was off down the town with a load of peeps where we seem to have had a mass hallucination My girlees had to leave to get a train so I headed back to the hotel and ran about all night wearing a towel with my sidekick Spike wearing a facecloth Then it was bed and

Sunday

Had a very quiet day as I was just far too tired and had a bit of a sore stomach. Spent the morning doing the usual goodbyes and micky-takes then drove DJ Billy & Sydney home. Got back home myself about half five, then went out for a meal with a work colleague that I couldn't eat

Feeling a bit better today and I'm just thankful I don't have to work. Was great to see everyone and hope you all had as good a time as I did.

Ahem, sorry, anyhoo, as I said before it was a very cool weekend, here's the highlights...

Friday:

Despite having the whole day to get myself ready and packed I still ended up rushing about. Met up with {b]Ethan{/b] and rocked out to the Ataris (where I also injured my hand after being landed on by crowd surfer) which was very cool.

Made it to Birmingham in the wee small hours, saw Nazi-Jim the Nightwatchman (oh joy of joys... ), met up with a few people, got busted by afore-mentioned nightwatchman, went to bed.

Saturday:

Went out at 12 to get some breakfast, wandered around Brum for a bit, bumped into Spike & Co. Wandered around with them for a bit more before meeting up with Katie and Littlewitch.

We then went down to the Brindley where we met up with Jayjay, Julz, JtB, Noid, Stoo, Guffer and by the miracles of modern technology Whistler to have a very intellectual and highbrow discussion involving gorillas, penguins, chicken and deceased royalty among other things. Then some food (where much to Julz's disappointment there was no gorilla on the menu) before getting tarted up and heading to the party.

The party, in a word, totally rocked! I danced stupidly for most of the evening as usual. Thanks to all those who danced with me rather than just pointing and laughing at the sad-case dancing on his own.

After the party headed into town, had a couple of drinks and then went to Reflex. Can't believe I'd not been there before, very fun night. Then it was back to Katie and Mandy's room for a 'quiet' room party involving disturbing towel-related incidents, Renton impressions, fingers of doom, biting of hands to avoid laughter, wine spillage and other such mirth and merriment.

Sunday:

Fairly low-key day. Much tiredness and a case of the post-meet blues. But another cool gig in the form of the Lostprophets when we arrived back in London.

And today I've slept...

Another year, another T-Party. It's all over too soon.

Friday
Nasty journey on the way up so what should have taken a couple of hours ended up being something nearer 4 (though it wasn't as bad as DM's journey, courtesy of one of his contingent believing that you got to the M6 via the M4 - oops.)

Arrived at the Travel Inn to be greeted by Tam and MonSTeR coming down the stairs from the bar with the news that the bar was closed. Could the day get any worse? The James Brindley came to the rescue with it's "booze sale" - a great concept which should be adopted nationally! At £1 a bottle (£1.50 if you wanted Budweiser) the awful journey was soon forgotten General banter with many, boozing and listening to Julz's enitre catalogue of jokes. Watching Tam get hammered was priceless!

Saturday
Breakfast with Tam, Mon & Rally after which I went of in search of a Motorbike shop, which didn't seem to exist any more Dropped the car back at the hotel and headed into town. Bought a pair of jeans (which doesn't sound exciting, but is an acheivement for me as it would seem that few places cater for a man of my length ) Wandered around the Bull Ring - very swanky - then met up with DM, Wale, Jimi, Milky and JtB and watched the 2nd half of the footy. Returned to the hotel for a kip and watched the unconvincing rubgy game. Then it was party time!

Sunday
Brekkie with Tam, Mon & DJ_Ethan

Hung out and looked at various incriminating pictures while waiting for previous night's participants to crawl out of bed. Thanks to Littlewitch for taking a picture of me sitting down as it highlights the fact that I should go on a diet - cheers

Took Noid to the airport and then headed home.

It was a shame that the numbers weren't quite as good as previous years. Lets hope you guys make it next year. It was still a good weekend thanks to (in no particular order) - Tam, Mon, Ethan, Evil Lawer Chick, Taz, Littlewitch, Julz, Noid, Milky, JtB, Rally, Stoo, Watcher Girl, Dan, DangerMouse, Koala, Kate, Teresa, Yvonne (how you doin'?), DJ_Billy, JayJay, PoF, Emma & thelostsailor

Last but not least, my two Essex girls - KaTiE(I'm soooo drunk)Star and pocket-sized coolkat who compensated on Saturday with a serious pair of platforms!

Friday

Train journey down was ok, thanks to Bipolar for meeting me at the station, i'm useless with directions.

Friday started off well, when I met up with Y and T, it was so great seeing you guys again! Missed you lots. And it was nice to meet Phil for the first time too.

Sydney- Thank you for being my roomie And if you snored I didn't hear you so thats good

The Brindley was a good venue, shame the barmaid (the older one) could not understand a word I was saying. Reflex was a good club, was impressed with the women in the toilet that hands you papertowels, hand lotion and lollypops!

Saturday

Toddled down to breakfast, surprised that I did not have a hangover, the shopping trip was eventful, where thanks to Ethan I picked up a new nickname, and being me I had a tendancy to wander off and lose everyone...good thing
Ethan was all gadjified in his white hoody, as you could spot him for miles.

After shopping it was back to the hotel for a nap, I was wiped out since I had been up since 4am Friday morning. Did some reading for uni and then watched the rugby, shouting and screaming at the tv.

Was really lazy getting ready to go out to the party, thanks to Taz for glittering me, and apologies to all who were covered as well.

Had a great time at the party, thanks to Tam, Mon & Stoobs. As to the game of 'cricket' I have to say that Wale had the best technique. And as DM now knows running into the male toilets does not mean you escape your slap...shame I slipped on the floor.

After the party we headed to Reflex, thanks to PoF who walked me barefoot back to the hotel until I changed into my boots. Lost everyone in Lloyds, then we went to some pub I can't remember before heading back to Reflex.

What can I say I had a fit of the giggles so when we were all meant to be silent I just couldn't stop laughing. Sorry to Katie for getting wine on her bed and on the wall. Ahh the towels, the best one was the second time we went into Ethan'sroom. Headed to bed about 4am I think when Katie kicked us all out.

Sunday

Oh how I felt ill, seriously hungover it was time to say goodbye to everyone, I hate this part of the meets.

A group of us ended up going to the train station together, and did anyone find out why there was so much police at the station? Journey home was a nightmare, as I didn't have a reserved seat for some reason I had to stand for two hours cramped with 8 other people between compartments. Managed to get a seat finally where I started to get really hot and dizzy with a sore throat. Train was delayed at Berrick, when the police had to board the train and arrest some drunken men. Which meant that I missed my connection train to Fife when I got in at 8pm. The next train wasn't for another 2 hours so I ended up getting the 9pm to Kirkcaldy and a taxi home. Got in at 10.30, and just crashed.

I got all that way without hurting myself or ending up in hospital, nearly got away with it, but as I got out the cab I was that out of it I whacked my head off the roof and knocked my back out again, so now I have a sore back and a throat infection.

But at least it all happened after the meet, it was so long since I have seen everyone, and it was nice to finally meet some new people like Emma & thelostsailor. Katie - It was good to finally speak to you considering we've sat together before and never said a word!
