Why not re-arrange it for later in the summer? That way people can get the conventions out of the way and save up some cash

hmmm, ok well july when katies beach meat was gonna be, how about that as my parents are away and i can have as many people crash as they want, i have about 8 spare beds and 2 sofas and lots of floor space that way people don't pay for a hotel and we can have karaoke back at my house in the evening

Date for this meet has been decided as 20th of July. We know that this is the week before The Prom but as Spike has enough room for loads of us to crash this won't cost as much as some meets do.

if we wanted we could jsut have a bbq and drink and stuff as that may be cheaper than going bowling for people stuck for money and could still be fun, but you'd have to bring a bit of food with you as i couldn't feed everyone. but its up to you lot what you wanna do.

OK, this officially sucks. I was so looking forward to meeting evil incarnate, with a bit of burnt flesh in a bap (bbq silly!) on the side, but I'm down to work nights on the 20th of July. If I can get someone to cover me then count me in, but it's looking doubtful at the mo.

This is going to sound really sad and dadish, but the only problem with pulling a sicky is that it means my colleagues have to cover my work for me, on top of their own. Now, it's probably clear from how much time I spend on here during my night shifts that I don't do a lot, but that's because I'm damn good at my job. *head swells with rush of ego* Whereas my colleagues don't really know how to do my job, which means that small things become big things and they suffer because I took a sicky...

Anyway, I'm still going to try and get cover.

However .. I have been begged to come in and do some overtime in a couple of weeks to cover someone else, and I think I might just forgo getting paid overtime and persuade my boss to let me take July 20th off instead...

That is very true! But do not underestimate the power of the dark-side. We're going to have to go all out on this one. We're going to have to cross the streams (metaphorically, obviously)!

Just be careful of what you are thinking off when meeting her for the first time, we wouldn't want memories of the BBC from Nos being used as the method of our destruction...
