Cambridge Meet - Friday 12th July
Well a few of us have discussed this, and as there's a FREE Pop in the Park concert thingy on at Parker Piece in Cambridge on Friday 12th July it sounds like fun
Main headliner is Tony Hadley (not sure yet whether its just Tony or whether Steve Norman & John Keeble are tagging along as it will determine whether its spandau stuff or solot stuff)
There are still bands to be announced. But the event starts at 6pm.
At 10.30pm apparently there's going to be a showing of Monster's Inc on the big screen
Link is HERE
Anyone interested?

Sorry - I'm working that night.
I'm guessing car as I'll be taking hubby + some. I can't go until I've finished work though so I'm guessing Cambridge at 6.30pm.

Well I'm half geared up ... little worried its going to chuck it down with rain to be perfectly honest. Most people who were considering going have pulled out and the local paper says:
"Kicking things off tomorrow night will be the annual Pop in the Park which this year has a distinctly 80s feel. Headlining on the main stage will be former Spandau Ballet star Tony Hadley, with tribut act Ultimate 80s, popsters Reel and the people's choice for this year's Pop Idol, Rik Waller (yeah right who are they trying to kid!!! ) among the support acts. Countless stalls, a French market and an open air screening of Monsters Inc have all been organised"
Well I'm hoping to get there at 6.30pm give or take the traffic.
If anyone else is going email me pegasus@tangent21.com and I'll check my email before 6pm tomorrow.

The Ginger one and I will be there about 6.30 too. Gonna park behind Jazzs shop and walk over. I'll call you when we're there and then we'll come find you. Looks like a nice day for it too
We had a really cool night tonight. We got drunk, heckled Fat Rick Waller, screamed at Tony Hadley, sang "Hey big spender" to a drunk man, told a man he looked liked Ricky Martin (he didn't) so we could eat his chips, and stole a corn on the cob off another man. We flashed our boobs at all the lorries on the way home, called all the men on our mobiles and then passed out watching the Big Brother eviction night on video. Yvonne also wound up the hamster. Night and sorries for whoever we called
