OK, been doing some checking as I think it's about time we made some bookings. Flowers, Thomascook.co.uk are offering flights for this weekend from Heathrow to Amsterdam for £69.20 (inc Tax).

As for Accommodation, I'm waiting to hear if a place is available, but it's a four person apartment, at £275 for the weekend. Now, I know Noid has a place to stay, and my (non-site) mates who are definitely going are a couple and want a room to themselves, so between the three of us that would be approx £92 each for the weekend. A bit pricey, but if we can fill the fourth space it comes down to £69 each. If this is too much then let me know and I'll look for something cheaper. This would also be a good time for anyone else who definitely can (and wants to) go to speak up...

Oh yes. I decided I was going didn't I.

OK, three are now four. And I can get a five bed appartment (one room) for the whole weekend at E405. Which is roughly £255, which I make as being £64 each (about £21 per night). Is that OK with everyone?

Obviously, as there are five beds, if we can get a fifth it will be even cheaper... [looks over at Spike, Gopher and Syd... ]

Having said that, there's another place, two bedrooms and five beds (for six people) with kitchen shower and toilet, at E565 (approx £355) which works out at £59 each. Now, assuming that's one room with four singles, and one with one double, that might suit us better. I'll check...

Jay - finally in the post this morning arrived, yes, a ticket for United v Leverkusen in November, oh and a passport.

Ok, people! I think I've found us a place. Not an appartment but a hotel room (breakfast included) for four adults, and I've been told we will get single beds. Cost? E160 per night. Works out at near enough £301 for the weekend. That's basically £75 each for the weekend. Also, my coupley friends who wanted their own room for non-family-friendly purposes will be in the same building but will have their own bed to break...

Sorry for the delay in confirming this, but finding somewhere to suit us and my horizontally obsessed mates was proving difficult at a reasonable price.

Any probs with the price then let me know.

I'll email you each the address and hotel phone number, but if you let me know what time you'll be arriving at Amsterdam then I'll arrange to meet you at the station.

Ok, final confirmations...

I've bought tickets for Alez and me, and we land at Amsterdam at 16.20. Should hopefully be in Amsterdam proper around 5pm. My mates from Leeds (Steve and Chris) should be getting to Amsterdam around 9ish. So that just leaves Chrissy and Dan. I'll email you both as well, but can you confirm you're still ok and what your landing times in Amsterdam are?
