Cool, I love Manchester so will definately be up for this. November seems so far away though, how about doing something a bit before then?
Manchester Meet (with added date-iness)
Manchester Meet
Well as one or two know, I've had major mood swings at my parents for saying all the meets are too far away!! So my solution is to have a meet in Mancehster so that all the Northerners that struggle to get to Nos etc can play host(ess).
After talking to Miss Kitty it looks like November would be the best month (September & October are pretty full and December is Christmas etc)
Also, I've found some info on the Fab Cafe which claims to be Cult TV themed so I was thinking of checking it out & then maybe using it as a meeting place?
So all we need to know is:
a) who's interested?
b) which weekend?
c) which people in Mancehster can offer beds etc?
d) any special requests on what to do?
I can personally offer 2, maybe 3 beds and a tent that sleeps another 2 to 3.
Edit: 23rd of November seems most likely right now, any problems with that? Just want to sort it so anyone who needs to can try and get the time off

May well be up for Manchester even if it will prove to be a long journey south, as may well be traveling from Newcastle assuming I move there as planned for a year from late September. Any Northern Northern meets anywhere as manchester seems quite south now.
Got to learn that the North does not begin at Milton Keynes and everything between there and Scotland is in Walking distance.
Oh, crash space would be needed.

Will do Lioness Can someone with 'the power' put it up on the calendar so I don't forget?? (Just call me fish-memory-girl!)
Depending on who else is going from this way, I should be up for Manchester probably the 16th or 23rd are the best dates at the moment.
So much for another early night, eh, Peg?
This meet appeals to me too. Free on the 16th and am in the Trafford area on the 23rd anyway.

At the moment I really don't know where I'm going to be in November! But if I'm round and about here I'll certainly try and get to this
Ooh this sounds like fun Put me down as a definite maybe Hopefully I can save the pennies & make it to this as I had a fab time at another Manchester meet we did.....
*wanders off fondly remembering the fun of that day*

count me in!! I don't live too far from manc!! See everyone there!!
I'd be on for something of this nature- Yorkshire based so only an hour or two away. I don't really have any preferences as regards an activity, but it'd be nice to have an opportunity to talk and then go on somewhere to have fun. As a rule, the last weekend of the month is less good than the others, but other than that I'm pretty much easy.
Sounds like fun, its good that it is in November, gives me time to persuade my parents that driving from London to Manchester on my own is definately a good idea!
I'm up for anything, preferably involving alcohol, a place to crash or a travel lodge thingy would be good too,
Wahoo!!! I'm excited now, haven't been to a meet in AGES!!

Well, 23rd is a weekend I'm meant to be working Saturday and Sunday days, but I'll see if I can get cover.
Either (16th or 23rd) is fine with me.
