i'm interested. any date's fine by me.
Manchester Meet (with added date-iness)
Manchester Meet
Well as one or two know, I've had major mood swings at my parents for saying all the meets are too far away!! So my solution is to have a meet in Mancehster so that all the Northerners that struggle to get to Nos etc can play host(ess).
After talking to Miss Kitty it looks like November would be the best month (September & October are pretty full and December is Christmas etc)
Also, I've found some info on the Fab Cafe which claims to be Cult TV themed so I was thinking of checking it out & then maybe using it as a meeting place?
So all we need to know is:
a) who's interested?
b) which weekend?
c) which people in Mancehster can offer beds etc?
d) any special requests on what to do?
I can personally offer 2, maybe 3 beds and a tent that sleeps another 2 to 3.
Edit: 23rd of November seems most likely right now, any problems with that? Just want to sort it so anyone who needs to can try and get the time off

Okay... I'm wondering if we're doing this?
*crosses fingers*
As soon as Emma decided on a date we can start planning... how about a lunchtime start near a station to let people arrive off trains or find parking or whatever?

23rd it is!
Now we've had the date debate... what about activities?
(first person to be obvious and say 'drink' will get a sound smapping )

Now where's my smap?
23rd should be fine for me, but I'll know nearer the time
As for activities, there's shopping, food, cinema and laserquest. I'm not sure whether there's a bowling alley nearby - I think I checked last time, but one may have sprung up since )

Count me in on this one.
Any weekend's fine.
No beds to offer *sorry*.
I'm not fussed whatever we do. Although I quite like the idea of lazerquest whoever said that.

Yeah mate course it is.
Everyone else, as I think I mentioned somewhere in this thread, I live about 20-30 miles away from Manc but if people want to crash at mine, we could get a minibus back. Even if it costs us a tenner each, it's gonna be cheaper than us all having to find money for a hotel.
Ok, so my house aint the Ritz or anything, but a few T21ers crashed here lkast weekend and they still live to tell the tale

I may need somewhere to crash too. I've got a few mates in Manchester but I dunno if they'll want to come out with us lot. I'll try and persuade them. But if they don't it'll make staying with them awkward.
Sydney's brought this to my attention and I should be able to come along. Never been to the Fab Cafe, despite its obvious coolness and my being-in-Manchester-for-5-years-ness. Silly!
