Edinburgh...
well upon my leaving a lot of Tangent regulars said they would love to visit (maybe some were just being polite who knows) EvilLaywerChick and myself have done some looking around and found a place that's really cheap but could possibly involve sharing a DORM.....anybody up for that? Sounds like fun to me 
well it wont be for anytime soon due to all the recent conventions and meets and some of the cons coming up so maybe early next year (so this gives everyone the time to get a weekend off work or save mula) but we were wondering who was up for coming to an edinburgh meet and when is best. we can kinda get an average of when everyone's available and who wants in.
the place to stay is a hostal but it boasts many good things and is very cheap the website is princesstbackpackers.com/west okay so it's a backpackers hostal but it looks really cool.
its facilities include
self-catering kitchens
payphone
several television rooms
lounge areas
backpackers bar
POOL COMPETITIONS
quiz nights
live music
drink promotions
and get this
PUB CRAWLS
and there are no curfews.
the rate would be as follows... (and as pp/pn)
Dorm £12
Twin/Double (2 people) £16
Triple (3 people) £15
Quad (4 people) £16
figure a dorm would be a lot more fun but it's all down to you lot.
Anywho as i said for now it's just to get number and see whose interested and when is the best time for everyone.
I'm still waiting on more info from the hostal so updates as they come in.
so post ya name and a month/date that you might be free and we'll see which comes up the most and go from there.

would so be interested in this never been to scotland, plus i ahve mates in glasgow i'd like to meet. would we like go on a tour of that thing where the dog was sitting on the wrong masters grave as it was a grave with the same name as the bloke who died, and theres like tunnels there or something.

Most seem to like the early next year thing BUT you all seem to forget about the Tangent TeaParty 
soooooooo, thinking maybe later but then there's conventions in may so maybe between?.....does that sound alright would everybody be alright for that?
The meet WILL happen it would be nice to get everyone who want in to come but it's just getting a date between cons, meets and peeps having enough mula.
so more suggestions for dates as me and rana will here all the time (hopefully i will for some time to come i dont wanna leave yet) so mostly anytime is fine with us. (excluding below lol)
CJL: Rana has exams in the bank holiday weekend (like when they planted her exam on a saturday during homecoming
) im sure she'll post or contact you either way.

I'm up for this. Sounds like a cool plan, and I could visit my sister while I'm up there. Any date is as good as another, I just need notice to ask for any days off from work.
