Ok..... I have noted e-mails of all those interested and once we have more of an idea of numbers I will send an e-mail to you all saying ticket prices, where to send monies and when by.

Well, after last weekend, Theme Park fever has struck me and the Happy Guru (DM) offered to take me to Chessington World Of Adventures 'cos I've never been... next thing I know I'm organising another meet for half the peeps in chat for the day after OctoNos
For those of you like me, who have never been, Chessington World Of Adventures is about 12 miles from London on the A243, just 2 miles from the A3 and M25 and car parking is free (unlike AT

As well as having some of the naffest adverts in TV history (the Smash Aliens not withstanding
) Chessington also has a couple of new attractions for this year, not that it makes a big diff' if you've never been
Tickets will cost £21 on the day, but if we get more than 12 people going and book in advance, its only £15.50 and Jola has offered to book them if we send her the cash first.
We won't be organising a hotel this time 'cos most peeps will have someone to crash with, but I'll help you look (or rather send the 'search puppy' looking) if you need me to.

Hey, I dont know if this helps, but;
If you were at Alton Towers they gave out these leaflet things, and on the back of the leaflet is a little coupon that lets an under 12 get in free.

Right - we have about 12 people interested which will mean we only pay £15.50 for our tickets.
The cut off point for joining in on the group booking will be FRIDAY 20th SEPTEMBER
This then gives me time to collect all monies in from everybody before I book the tickets.
E-mails with details etc will be going out near that time

well, i am going to chessington but not on those dates, a bunch of the vamp group lot are going during the halloween nites they hold at the park. you can go on the rides at night! there all going dressed up to scare the locals!so i'm doing that one cos i already said i would! sorry
