I Can't Believe It's Not Nos! III - 12/10/02
OK, checking my diary I see that the second weekend of October is free. I also note that I won't be able to go to OctoNos (I'll be in Amsterdam) and that I missed September Nos (working) and there was no Not-Nos this month as I was at Kelly and Graham's engagement party (congrats, again, BTW!). This means several of you have been spared my wit and company for far too long. What we need is ...
OCTONOTNOS!
Usual gig - meet at Lord High Admiral in Pimlico from 1pm onwards. Try not to spill beer on pool tables. Then head off to the Steam Engine for Karaoke around 8ish.
Lots of drinking and taking over of pubs. All those who are in say 'Aye, cap'n!'.

yeah i'll be up for this don't think i'm busy. sjut one thing, do we ahve to go to the admiral? i eman its a bit of a way to the karaoke so surely we could go to any pub to start with if one looks good enough with pool and a juke box and stuff.

Spike, if anyone has a suggestion for an alternate start, then I'm all ears. Personally, I wouldn't want to spend ALL day in the Steam Engine, so it needs to be somewhere else. And it needs to be somewhere everyone can find easily. Which is the reason we've used the Admiral so far.
So, anyone any suggestions for somewhere else to start?

Besides which, going to London for the day is *SO* much cheaper than going up to Scotland and impersonating Stoo while you two entertain eachother And if you'd rather spend your birthday in the land of cold and windy, that's fine... the fact that I kept the weekend free 'cos you wanted to go to Butlins apparently means nothing to you

Dude, I am so there!! Ain't no way I'm missing another one.
As for Ben Crouch's Tavern, I've been there. It's just round the corner from HMV. It's a pretty cool place, though if I remember rightly it doesn't have a pool table or a juke-box, so it might not be an overly-popular choice.
