Rocky Horror Meet - Birmingham, Saturday April 5th

Calling all sweet Transvestites from Transexual in Transylvania, wandering lovers and unconventional conventionalists...

On Saturday the 5th of April next year, at the Birmingham Hippodrome, there will be a performance of the Rocky Horror Show, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the stage show.

And I think T21 should be there.

So, sign up below. Once we have an idea of numbers I'll place a group booking for us. And as others have pointed out in the previous thread, speed is probably of the essence here, as tickets are likely to sell out.

Also, if anyone wants to help with finding a suitable hotel for crashing in, I'd be much obliged.

So, I recommend we go for the Â£14.50 seats, and will make an order for these in just over a weeks time. So, as well as posting here, can people please email me at Jayjay@Jayjay.org.uk to confirm they want to be included in the group booking. I will buy a group set of tickets based on emails recieved by noon on Monday 25th of November. People can be added after that, but I won't be able to guarantee that we'll be able to sit together.</edit>

There's an Ibis hotel within a stones throw of the Hippodrome. There's not all that many hotels in the Chinese Quarter of town (where the theatre is situated) most of the hotels are in the city centre or on Broad Street. You've got Novotel and Travel Lodge on BS or there's the City Inn behind or something like the hotel in the Briar Rose (where people stayed for the T-Party).

Hope this helps even a little

OK, I've added a list to the top of the thread of who's in so far.

However. I've just rung the theatre and tickets near the front are selling quick. Already, there's too many of us to sit together in the best seats. There's room in the Â£12.50, Â£16.50 and Â£20.50, but only room for one group up to nine in the Â£24.50 seats.

So, I recommend we go for the Â£20.50 seats, and will make an order for these in just over a weeks time. I'll whack Smudge round the head tomorrow to get her to check in here. I'm pretty sure she wants to go, she was muttering about staying with us for it. I shall find a swap for my shifts that weekend and then worry about the dressing up... did a half arsed Magenta once, not sure yet for this time
